Buying decisions - I miss my Forza

After some debate about a new PCX, I think I want to get back into a Forza. I had a 2014 I sold 4 years ago. Regretting it. So, I’ve found a few. Most are $4k. Found a 2015 with 200 miles (basically new) and another with 600. Also one with 8500 miles. Well maintained. What would you go for at roughy...

Re: 2021 PCX or 2022 ADV?

Yeah. Maybe it’s my inseam, which is 29 inches. I can’t have both feet flat when stopped. I do think it’s a little higher that the PCX. It’s doable however. I agree, it’s cool.

2021 PCX or 2022 ADV?

Hi everyone. So, I sold my 2016 PCX two years ago. I’m itching to get back into it. The 2021 model is hard to find of course. I’m on a waitlist for a non ABS model from a local place. OTD is about 4980, but there are no promises when it might come. Could be in a couple of months. The ADV is a *littl...

Re: Looking at a 2015 never serviced.

Picking it up today! I offered $2100. She said another was interested and that she would let me know. Apparently the other person didn’t materialize and she took my offer a day later! I’m excited! It’s in really good shape. 820 miles. Checked the oil and it was nice and clear. Good tires. I’ll put a...

Re: Looking at a 2015 never serviced.

Will do. Thanks for the advice! Yeah 400-600 for service seems right then. I’ll probably call a few dealers to see what their quotes are too and use that in the negotiations. I don’t want to low ball her but if we end up at or close too 2000 I’ll be happy.

Re: Looking at a 2015 never serviced.

Thanks! Good call on the fluids. I’ll give it a once over. I’m guessing approximately $400 for the first service US. She is asking $2,400. If I can get it for $2,000 I think that would be a good deal, if everything else checks out.

Looking at a 2015 never serviced.

Currently looking at a 2015 PCX. One owner with 800 miles. The owner said she never did the first service or oil change. If I buy it I’ll do that right away. Any concerns here that she hasn’t had an oil change in 4 years? What’s the average price of the first service in the US? I’m going to see if s...

Re: Best Cover for Forza, with Windscreen, size

Thanks for the reply. Walmart was a good option, but they didn't have any of my local store. So I went with the extra-large Nelson-Rigg above. I just received it and I'm pretty happy with it. It fits really well on the Forza with the windshield. Actually anything smaller than extra-large would be to...

Best Cover for Forza, with Windscreen, size

Hi everyone, sorry if this has been posted before, but I can seem to find it. I am looking for a cover for my Forza, which has the windscreen. I am looking at the Nelson-Rigg MC-904-04-XL Deluxe All-Season, on amazon. I'm just not sure of the size. According to the dimensions on their website the Me...

Re: What are your positives/negatives about the Forza?

I love the Forza. I switched from a PCX 150 (which I also loved) to a ‘used’ Forza on Memorial Day. It had 650 miles when I brought it and I’m at 1800 miles now. I am finding that since it’s bigger and faster than the PCX I can take it more places, so I am riding it more than the PCX. The storage is...

Re: Scooter Rally...So much Fun!

It sounds like it was fun! I belong to the Facebook group and saw some pics. I did see a PCX! I live in the area (guess you can tell by my name). I wasn't able to make it this weekend. I hope to make it to a ride with you guys one day, but it's difficult since I live in Lebanon County. As far as the...

Thanks! Yeah, i would buy the used if it was 500 or even 400 less. I'll see if the Costco deal works out.

Re: looking at a "used" forza vs. new

Sure - yes it's not a bad deal through Costco, but there doesn't seem to be many dealers participating. I'm going to have to travel about 100 miles to get there; should make for an interesting first ride home! So you all think I should pass on the 2 month old "used" / non ABS at $5500 OTD ...

Re: looking at a "used" forza vs. new

"Costco auto program". I guess they negotiate with certain dealers for a "special" no haggle price. Works for cars too of course. It's not a bad price, but the closest deal participating isn't too close to me.

Re: looking at a "used" forza vs. new

Thanks. Yeah, I did offer him 500 less for the used and he didn't budge. Said he can't go any below on it. Interestingly he was pushing the new. The quote for the new was actually pretty good compared to others in the area (6200 out the door). The Costco program new was about 6000 out the door, but ...

looking at a "used" forza vs. new

Hi everyone – so I’m selling my PCX and looking for a Forza. Found a used one nearby that was just traded in (yesterday). It was purchased new less than 2 months ago and has 623 miles. It is a non ABS with a Honda Windshield. The dealer just did the first service and it looks to be in almost new sha...

Re: Leaking fuel 2013 150

Thanks everyone. It wasn't in the sun right after I filled it - and I was only in the store for 10 minutes. The stall and trouble starting right after the leak is a concern. I'll call the dealer and take it in. Better to do so while it’s still under warranty!

Re: Leaking fuel 2013 150

I may have overfilled it, but I didn’t think I did. Maybe it was hard to start and stalled because it was flooded? But it worked itself out when I let it sit for a few minutes. It was fine on the trip home and didn’t leak anymore overnight. And it started right up this morning, so that must have bee...
