Have you ever ridden a Burgman 400 or 650?

Do you think the Burg 200 could cruise at 70mph (113kph) and get to 80mph (129kph) for short passing bursts?

Does it have enough mass to feel stable at highway speeds around big trucks?

Might be the perfect scoot for me if it could do the above.

Not much left above 70mph?

That would concern me as 70mph is a relaxed highway cruising speed in many parts of the US.

I recall others have reported speeds up to 80MPH. I would hope to have some get up & go, lets say from 65-80mph.

The helix does have a lovable, cute, ungainly, and unpretentious fabulous look to it.

That sounds like a significant design flaw. Air should be allowed to flow under the lower edge of the windshield and into the lower portion above the dash cowl. I would look into a mod to open up that part to some air flow to prevent any (vacuum) low pressure spots.
