Digital GPS Speedometer
For those who have an interest: Here is the digital GPS-based speedometer / tripmeter that I ordered today from Bike Nashbar: http://www.nashbar.com/bikes/Product_10053_10052_550370_-1___#ReviewHeader Although actually a bicycle cyclometer, it can be used on any scooter or motorcycle. No wiring is n...

Re: Motorcycles - damn addictive aren't they!
I've owned several high performance motorcycles in recent years, and every one of them came with a dose of frustration. If you really exploit the capabilities of such bikes, lots of speeding tickets and possibly injury or death are distinct possibilities. I began to feel that I had much more power t...

Re: Tall Windscreen For 2015 PCX150
I talked to a Cee Bailey technical rep today. They do not make windscreens for the 2015 PCX , and they do not have any plans to do so. Knowing that, here are my first 2 choices so far : - Honda's "tall" windscreen (possibly with an S180T shield attached) - Givi's new 1136ST windscreen (pos...

Re: Tall Windscreen For 2015 PCX150
Jakautz, the dark version might be a problem if you have to look through it to get proper air deflection. That wouldn't pose a problem during the day time, but looking through it when riding at night might be a real problem. It looks fairly dark. But a dark one would look cool, no doubt......like ba...

Re: Tall Windscreen For 2015 PCX150
I talked at great length this morning to a Givi USA customer service rep. He said that it is highly unlikely that Givi would produce a 323DT-sized windscreen for the 2015 PCX150.....and certainly not before next Spring, when the new riding season starts. He also said that he had not received any fee...

Re: Tall Windscreen For 2015 PCX150
After digesting the responses on this and other web sites, I've decided to wait a while to see whether Givi will change its mind and start making a tall windscreen for the 2015 PCXs (similar to the 323DT that they made for the 2013 PCXs)......because: - Several people have reported on this and other...

Re: Tall Windscreen For 2015 PCX150
As an addendum to my whining about tall windscreens: If anyone has used the new Givi S180T "supplementary" windscreen: ww.giviusa.com/givi-products/accessories/s180t-universal-deflector-clear-detail How effective is it in reducing wind noise and buffeting ? It looks pretty cool, but does i...

Re: Tall Windscreen For 2015 PCX150
The 2015 PCX150 accessories are now posted on the Honda Powersports web site. Here's the info re the tall windscreen: http://powersports.honda.com/2015/pcx/accessories.aspx If any of you have installed this new Honda tall windscreen on your 2015 PCX150, how effective was it regarding wind noise and ...

Tall Windscreen For 2015 PCX150
I've been reading a lot of posts/questions re availability of a tall windscreen for the 2015 PCX150 that is comparable to the tall Givi screen that is made for the 2013 model. My impression is that there is not one available from any manufacturer that is as tall as that tall Givi screen. Even worse,...

Re: 2015 PCX 150 Windscreen
When the new Givi tall windscreen for the 2015 PCX comes out, it probably will be a few inches taller than the Honda windscreen. Competition Accessories said that it is not in production yet. I think that I'll wait until it becomes available and then compare its height with the Honda tall windscreen...

Re: My Yuminashi PCX experiences - POOR!
Would an aftermarket variator, by allowing the belt to ride higher on the pulley, adversely affect hill climbing ability ? Or would the belt assume its "normal" position (i.e., stock) to provide a lower gear ratio when climbing hills ? Having the belt riding higher in the pulley would cert...

Re: My Yuminashi PCX experiences - POOR!
My previous four motorcycles were either stage 1 kitted throughout or had a matched factory race kit. All of them had substantial performance improvements because the performance parts were of high quality and worked together in unison as matched systems components. This PCX150 is a different animal...

Re: turn signal cancel devices
Homie, I think that a prism of the size that was in your video would be about the right size to attach to the top of a tall windscreen. Unfortunately, the tall windscreens are not available for the 2015 PCXs yet. I plan to get one when they become available.....probably a Givi, as their tall windscr...

Re: turn signal cancel devices
A search on the internet indicates that there are a lot of led repeater devices available for turn signals. They certainly could be installed if one knows how to do it. I have to admit that I'm a little bit leery of altering the wiring on my new scooter, but others probably wouldn't mind doing so. O...

Re: turn signal cancel devices
I've always wondered why automatic turn signal cancelers aren't standard equipment on all motorcycles and scooters. My 1997 Harley Sportster had automatic canceling which worked perfectly every time; however, the bikes that I owned after the Sportster ( Buell S3T, Honda ST1100, and Ducati ST4) had m...

Re: Have any of you tried this top box ?
Thanks for the replies, folks. I'll probably just buy the mounting plate (from Givi or the Honda dealer) when they become available for 2015 PCX150s (after October 25, I was told by the Honda dealer). Thereafter, I'll decide what type of box to get. My general impression from posts on this forum is ...

Re: turn signal cancel devices
There are turn signal cancel devices available from aftermarket sellers. I had the Ducati dealer install one on my Ducati. Sorry I can't remember the brand name that I used, but you should be able to search "turn signal cancel" or some such and find them. Mine timed out after 8 seconds aft...

Re: What is a good price for 2015 Honda PCX 150?
One additional thought regarding the extended warranty: If you have an extended Honda warranty on your PCX, it might command a higher selling price later if you sell it while the warranty is still in effect. At the very least, a potential buyer would probably be more likely to buy your scooter if he...
