Re: 2014 PCX - put a deposit down!
..........   The "early PCX 125s" weren't built very well for even holding up just the Scooter alone.....the " later PCX 125s and 150s" will hold up the Scooter.....due to the overall design, I would still be afraid to sit on it much, and didn't. I've owned a lot...

Re: Motorcycle Helmets
Try any HJC's... I agree about the FF vs. Modular. I like riding with my FF visor up ahhh breezey , but with sunglasses on of course 8) But if you had a modular, you could drink and ride, pick your nose and spit a lot easier  But not all at once hopefully Don't under estimate the talents/skill...

Re: New Owner, 2014 - AF1123 to be installed in a couple of
Mike, Not just your opinion. It is best big scoot for now. If Suzuki had a shaft drive on it, then it would be a huge seller as a touring machine. It is like a Goldwing for people that can't afford the actual wing or that can't handle the big weight. Yes, I've had them both and speak from experience...

looking good Mike. Thanks for sharing the pics too.
The extra red of the light/accent panels aren't too much either.
pwg expressed concern about the extra red on our bright red skuts.
I like the looks of both. The V47 kinda flows with the Forza.

Re: New Owner, 2014 - AF1123 to be installed in a couple of
The "Burgman grin" is a phrase coined on the Burgman forum implying that anyone who rides the Burgman skuts will be so happy they are ALWAYS grinning.
Some go on to say that is the reason for the full face helmet when riding the burgman (to cover your constant grin).

Re: Gas Gauge
I use the center stand/view and fill to the cross bar. But many use different methods. I've seen some use pvc pipe to use like the Mccuff.
There isn't that much difference on the side stand if the ground is level.

Re: Givi AF1123 Installed this morning
Hope it performs better than it looks  I was thinking the same thing...BUT now he added the Givi V47 Tech box on the back and it really compliments the looks. I was thinking about the D1123, but now reconsidering. After a couple tanks full of fuel, how about an update pawineguy? I would be int...

That trunk with that screen goes good together on the skudder. One without the other kinda looks out of place on the Forza (ymmv).
I really like the look of your skudder.
Looks like you prefer the screen at the lowest position.

Re: Been a while...lot of "Life Changes"
I sympathize with you Skuuter. I retired early for those reasons. With three other siblings wanting no part of helping mom, I'm all she's got. Doing all I can to keep her out of the Old Folks Condo, but looks like I might be making the same decision. After all they done for us, it is hard to do that...

Like the pics Skuuter. Reading your sig, I thought I'd have much more than that once retired. Seems I don't get off days any more.

Re: New Owner, 2014 - AF1123 to be installed in a couple of
Mike, I had the Burger 650 Exec and got an average of 54 mpg (US) after 20k miles and pulling a trailer part of the time. With the Forza and the Honda large windscreen, I'm averaging 67 mpg after 3000 miles. My average last month was 70.6. Sounds to me like you have a heavy hand on the throttle when...

I saved my cover instead of drilling holes in it. Not that noticeable once the box in on and you can take everything off and return to stock look if you want.
