Re: 2014 New Model PCX
iceman board voltage should be always DC, but 12V not USB plug with 5V, this is what is missing, USB outlet All the sales literature and spec on Honda websites quotes 12AC outlet not DC (even some bike magazines wrote AC in their early announements). I've never seen the 12 outlet quoted as being DC...

Re: 2014 New Model PCX
In the UK it seems we have white, shiny black, mat black and red - although it seems to depend which dealer's web site I visit . I'm still confused why there is a 12v ac (not DC) outlet for phones, nav devices. Seems to be off the generator and not from the battery?

Re: speedometer and odometer stopped working.
You say no warranty - is that because of age of the bike or not completing all Honda service intervals? Not completing the service intervals. I bought it 2nd hand and the previous owner only had it first service but nothing since although the bike is only just over a year old ( registered Jan 13 ) ...

Thanks for that - good to know. They are not even a Honda dealer (not one of the fours makes they usually sell on their website) so good service.

Re: Locked my keys in my car...
With my old Mark 3 Escort, if you had the master key you could get a £5 blank and program the keys in the steering lock (takes 30 seconds and the user manual tells you what steps to take). Ford dealers wanted £150 to 'make' a spare key! This may be the case with new cars, but for the '95 reg model, ...

Re: Service Intervals Short?
I'll make a video. I described this on a previous thread. It provides tight clearance to do the adjustment. It is only four more screws and two bolts to remove the rear plastics and tail light. It's a preference thing to remove the battery and battery box and the side fairings. But in general it pr...

Re: Service Intervals Short?
Don't remove the seat, remove the battery door and disconnect the negative cable and the battery retaining strap, remove the under seat storage bin carefully with the seat attached, complete valve adjustment. This will take you all of 10 minutes to remove then com plata your service. It's very simp...

Re: 2014 Honda PCX
Some UK dealers are advertising the new PCX now - not sure when it will be available or if it will be the same price as they are currently listing - the usual £2.600. http://www.chichesterhonda.co.uk/honda/new/bikes/scooters/2014honpcx125.htm#.UwChzc6j_rS Still says 12v AC socket which confuses me a...

Re: It's Electric!
The SR looks great, but with a good enough power cell costs near $20,000! As with most electric vehicles, they are getting better with longer ranges but the cost is far too much above normal fuel-powered vehicles to justify them unless you are really rich.

Re: [Product Review] French Designed TPMS
I'd be worried it would go off whilst the bike is left 'locked' or 'chained' in a public place and thus draw attention to the bike.
