Re: CDI box

Alright, well then I wasn't completely off base. Of course the next question, or series of scenarios, will be price points and reliability... Has anyone messed with the rev limiter on the PCX? I had a Daytona vario in my old scootz and it worked great. I'm just not trying to break the bank one way o...

Re: Givi 323 tall windscreen

Thanks!! I'm pretty stoked about the new look. I remember your old scootz and saw the screen for sale in the forum. Unfortunately, it was after I had already purchased this one :/ I was pretty bummed. The case is the Givi E30, 30 liters, and I got it from "the hub company" for a pretty goo...

Re: CDI box

Ok, I'll check those out. Maybe a vario issue and not a rev limiter

CDI box

I just found a CDI box (rev limiter increase) for my 2011 PCX 125 through jrmotor. It's only $37 but coming from Thailand. Does anyone have experience with something like this? Since I've installed my windscreen I'm constantly at my current rev limit and just dumping gas. http://www.jrmotor.com/jrmo...

Re: Givi 323 tall windscreens

I just installed a new windscreen, found it on eBay for $98 including shipping and handling. The screen is a knock off brand from Givi but the model is a KD322ST by Kappa.

Re: Hear Ye, Hear Ye....Decision Made!

Beautiful scootz white noise! I think it looks much better without the indicator lights on poles and built into the plastics, congrats and happy belated birthday!! Any significant increase in acceleration or top speed from the 125 to the new 150??

Re: What is considered high mileage ?

Sounds fair, blue book is around $2000 usd... But without pics or any other info it would be tough to give a fair estimate. Are there any upgrades or modifications to the scootz?

I'll agree with gn2 also... Dress shoes or my a pebble stuck in a sole... See how you get on/off your PCX and maybe a foot is rubbing... Best of luck and thankfully not too noticable

Re: Rear fender removal

I really like the look of the EU set up. Are these rear fenders interchangeable? Or are the connections different?

Re: Rear fender removal

Thanks chainsaw and mike, I think I can handle all the disassembly to get to the fender removal. Since the US pcx is the only bike with these protruding blinkers (or winkers) is it possible to get the EU model rear end? Also in this link.... is this the EU rear end or is it some other set up? http:/...

Rear fender removal

Hey everyone, I was looking around for a rear fender removal thread and couldn't find one. Does anyone have some info regarding the rear lighting kits? I found some on the World Wide Web like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/HONDA-PCX-125-150-2011-2013-LED-FENDER-ELIMINATOR-TURNSIGNAL-BAR-KIT-/25114181...

Re: My 2011 PCX 125

Every one eyeballs the PCX when you roll by, not sure if it's admiration or intrigue lol... I've had one biker buddy ask to ride it, he races street bikes on the track but really enjoyed the response from the PCX. We rode honda mets together so I'm trying to talk him into upgrading!!!

Good work, when you sprayed the plastics did you rattle can it or use a legit sprayer? I was thinking about throwing on some plasti-dip in a couple areas but unsure if it would stick...

Just came back from another ride, 3-5 mph breeze riding a nice flat.... 67 MPH, could have squeezed 1 or 2 MPH but didn't want to ride "wot" too long with only 300 miles so far

Ooooo, are valve adjustments difficult or should it just be brought into a dealership for that? I like the idea of being mechanically inclined, but reality is always a little different....
