Re: Project Legroom Complete!!

Really, a beautiful job. Congrats!! I will pass a link to this thread to others that are afraid to purchase a Forza due to legroom issues...you nailed it. Thank you... it's ironic that the seat looks very complicated but once you remove the hump you realize how easy of a job this is. If potential o...

Just as well as the "gloves" aren't
They have five long tubes that my fingers fit in, so I am pretty sure that they are, indeed, gloves.

Haha, yes... although it is only a 44mm case, the picture angle made it look huge.

Re: Project Legroom Complete!!

That looks very good, nice job. Do you have pics with the original seat with hump removed. At first try, i wanted to remove it, but now, i m almost used to it. But sometimes, i lack of space, so after the rear shocks improvement, that can be another things to do. Not a great pic Hoyt, lighting was ...

Abel Brown Gloves

Just arrived, Abel Brown casted glove in black / brown. Super comfortable right out of the nice bag they arrived in, $85. They sell other gloves without armor that are less expensive. I will wear these on cooler days, but I rotate gloves a lot so that they all get to breathe.

Re: Project Legroom Complete!!

That looks good wineguy. Now for a road test and let the butt tell you if the adjustment is good for it too!!! I'm about 3" shorter than you, so the seat is ok as far as fit. BTW, I ordered the back rest with my topcase. Waiting on it to be delivered now. Thank you Larry... if I can get this d...

Project Legroom Complete!!

Gained approximately 2-2.5 inches in legroom, took some quick pics in the garage - too much stuff from another project to pull it out this minute. Notes: 1. This was an expensive project, but only because I used very high quality leather and french seams. The same seat in vinyl would be much less ex...

Re: Givi AF1123 Installed this morning

Well, it is sad, but I've got to block pawineguy. Reading his posts has only cost me $$$$$$ Ordered (today) the Givi Air Flow and upgraded from my monolock 45L to the v47. My sincerest apologies Larry. I will not give any more updates. :D The good news is I think you're going to enjoy both of them,...

Re: Project Legroom Underway...

Looking forward to your results. I got that far, then looked at it for about 30 minutes and decided to put it back together until I could decide which way I wanted to go. Didn't want to be bikeless while waiting. I waited for the worst rain of the year to take the seat off... I'm pretty excited to ...

Project Legroom Underway...

Removed the seat with 3 screws and 4 nuts, then removed the 6 nuts holding on the back support hump. As you can see there is a hump built into the seat pan that is a few inches behind the stock back rest. Thus... A. I am not reusing the stock back rest, instead foam will be formed around the pan hum...

Re: New Owner, 2014 - AF1123 to be installed in a couple of

Looks great, the V47 is a terrific case. Hi Pawineguy, I used to live in Bucks County, PA, Morrisville, PA for about 8 years. I move out west all the way to CA because of my job. I absolutely loved PA and the great roads there to ride. I should add that I am in Bucks also, Jamison (Warwick Township...

Re: Givi V47 Tech installed on SR1123 rack

That trunk with that screen goes good together on the skudder. One without the other kinda looks out of place on the Forza (ymmv). I really like the look of your skudder. Looks like you prefer the screen at the lowest position. When the weather is good I keep it all the way down... they puts the ai...

Givi V47 Tech installed on SR1123 rack

Snaps right on securely, very solid piece. I chose the tech case because I didn't want to add any more red to the bike.
