Re: Today's Quick Pic

The fog lights look awesome. Every time I see a tall windscreen, I get jealous. Mine's a shorty

Yes please. Especially the hinge mechanism that keeps it open. Bloody annoying when it keeps slamming shut

Yay. I just past my full bike license test today. I'm no longer on a learner license and can ride any bike I want. I'll be sticking with my little scoot though :p

Re: Received my new bike

Hey iceman. Have you looked for any residues on your exhaust pipe? I had something drip and melt on my pipe once. Took me ages to identify where the smell was coming from

Re: Leaking fuel 2013 150

Has anyone found a solution other than buying a mccuff? Our gas attendants fill up the gas for you here in SA, and I feel like I'm screaming at him every time I shout out a warning when they're about to overfill.

Have you looked at the automatic Honda NC750 with dct transmission? I wouldn't mind getting my grubby paws on one of those.

Re: 997 mile Maggie Valley/Smokies Trip

Another thing to consider is the posters location. Some people live where this is their main transportation, while for the majority of western culture it is a sport. For me it is a combination estimating about 10% utility and 90% fun/sport activity. The cost was further down the list of considerati...

Re: 997 mile Maggie Valley/Smokies Trip

My girlfriend wanted to do a scenic, double up, coastal ride on the scoot once that was about 50km. I told her I would prefer driving due to the long distance. She then pointed out that I frequently do 100-200km rides on my road bicycle. That's when I realised I needed to rethink my 'rules'. Ps awes...

Re: 997 mile Maggie Valley/Smokies Trip

I was wondering the same thing, and then I thought that maybe he was saying it jest, tongue-in-cheek. Maybe we will hear back from him ... but maybe maybe we won't. :? I used a :p 'smilie' which is suppose to be tongue in check. I bought my first cheap Chinese scoot purely for time saving commuting...

Re: 997 mile Maggie Valley/Smokies Trip

Doesn't the forza get 60-70mpg? So if you and your wifey took a car, gas used would be the same, you would have been safer, have more luggage space, been able to chat, etc etc.... just saying :p

Re: $5046.75 for a new PCX150 anyone?

Yup, I had a pretty similar experience here in South Africa. 2013 pcx 150 advertised at R31000 was almost at R40000 with those screen, 45lt box, etc. So I went second hand private sale route instead.

Pity about the Ermax. If you're willing to donate it to me for free, I'd be more than happy to take it off your hands. I'll even pay for postage :p

Re: new or old?

Yay. I managed to find another second hand pcx150 700km on the clock for R21000 including almost new shark helmet and alarm disc lock. Unfortunately it came in red instead of the white I was hoping for. The bikes quality and handling is amazing compared to the cheap Chinese scoot I had before. The o...

new or old?

Howdy PCX forum I bought my first scooter about a year and a half ago. I went the cheap Chinese route as a first trial, and it started giving me minor quality issues pretty soon after buying. Nothing major, so it didn't deter me from becoming an avid scooter rider. The biggest deterrent was getting ...
