Re: How windy will you ride?
It gets super windy here in Cape Town. In the last 10 working days, I've had to be a cager 4 of those days, due to the excessive wind. The worst was last Tuesday, and I heard via the grape vine, that a scooter got swept under a truck. I'm glad I drove that day.

jojo87 you are diligent... wei2go you are observant. Together you are a force of nature  good job keeping the sunny side up. :) thanks. I'm a mountain biker and grip is super important on loose tracks. Some mountain bike tires are made to be reversible with one way for speed and the other for ...

Re: 2005 Suzuki V-Strom
Looks awesome. It however raises a few questions; 1) all that after market stuff looks useful. Are you really going to sell to save a few bucks? It will cost you further down the line to replace again. 2) have you tried putting maddie in the frunk of a nc700x? 3) if you ever sold the pcx, would you ...

Re: Bike shudders the first few times it starts each trip
Damn it. My 2013 pcx 150 has just started shuddering too after coming back from its first service. Garr. I use my scoot just about everyday on a 16km one way commute to work. Avg 45km/hr for most of the trip except the last 3km on the highway when I'm wot.

Re: Security Recommendation for 2015 PCX?
I get it. My thinking is that if it takes me an extra minute to get on my bike. Over time, That will be a hell of a lot of wasted minutes. With a low probability rate, id risk it. You sound like you have all the basis covered, except for your own opportunity cost. How precious is your own time? If y...

Re: Security Recommendation for 2015 PCX?
Wow, and here I thought crime in South Africa was bad.... I have an alarm disc lock which I never use and a 3mm thick bicycle cable lock which I have used twice in the last 2month. I park in a locked garage, which is behind security gates in my apartment complex. I leave my keys on the bike when it ...
