Re: New PCX facebook fan page
Not when its thank god its Friday drinks for lunch and end of day followed by a few hours down the pub. Used to ride after drinking when young with too many spills. I'm older and wiser now on some matters so it was a taxi home for me.

Re: New PCX facebook fan page
I don't like facebook, never used twitter, have to use LinkedIn reluctantly for work. Its not that I'm anti social just would rather talk face to face like at the pub where I was last night, and will be today for lunch, and tonight. No pcx commute today by the way!

Re: PCX150 is Fine for Pouring Rain...
I commute all weathers and embrace the rain as you use more skills and caution then. Only thing that makes me take my cage to work is winds over 40mph as I go over a mile long bridge and you can really get knocked around. Its OK if the wind is behind you but if its from ahead or perpendicular its no...

The 150 is newer and only came as an ESP, whereas the 125 original model (that I have) didnt have ESP until a couple of years or so later when they brought out a 125 ESP version.

Re: Convincing my mom
A PCX is an urban commuter scooter, is that really what you want as a first bike? I got a summer job at 16 bicycling in each day and saved money and bought an old 2nd hand CG125. You can learn using gears then and learn how to maintain a bike which is easier when you don't have fairings to take off....

Re: PCX125 vs PCX150..."Let's Race"
On reflection during my commute this morning, riding skill and experience counts for a lot for speed in urban riding. I got burnt off uphill by someone this morning on his 1000cc sports bike, but due to superior handling of my 125 and lane swapping, I still got to our (as it transpired) common desti...
