Re: ...Saddlebags...
I think one way to make them is to sand to shape cheap polystyrene in the shape of the side boxes, cover with fibreglass then use a solvent like acetone to disolve the foam after the fibreglass is hardened. Im sure you can google nice instructions. Instead of fibreglass you could use carbon or kevla...

Re: ...Saddlebags...
be nice to get dimensions, especially of the lid as it looks like it would be difficult to get a laptop thru it. My IBM thinkpad does fit under the seat except when I am carrying a spare helmet or other stuff too.

yep and also be careful where they are doing road resurfacing like near me at moment. Those grooves in the old road surface and ridge between old and new surface try and force your front wheel to go where you dont want it to go!

A good review of the 150 here : http://www.motorcycle.in.th/article.php ... -150cc-PCX seems to indicate top speed of 110-120km/h (around 69 - 75 mph)

Im glad I bought the tall Ermax +25 then. Good compromise between looks and keeping the wind off. Wont be changing it.

Re: Ermax
Yes its not that tall, even for a short person. I still get wind on my helmet, but not on the chest. The tall ermax is perfect for me. Also has increased my top speed to 65mph plus! Got 69 the other day with wind assistance.

Re: How to: Valve Adjustment for Honda PCX
How long does it take to do this, once experienced? My bike is going in for its first service shortly and I wonder whether to ask them to adjust? I am definately asking them to adjust my combo brake lever which is too loose. Also I plan to ask if they can do a rear shock upgrade.

Carrying lugage on rear seat
Today I wanted to strap my mains electric drill/bits in its big plastic carry case to the back seat and failed. Tried rope and bungy cords but nothing to hook onto. I reckon I could buy one of those ratchet tie downs and slip the tie down webbing under the seat and around the item to carry. Has anyo...

So is that your girlfriend? I seem to remember pics of Thai customised PCX's with very alien painted screens.

Re: Honda PCX Top Speeds (mph)
Just had mine up to 110 km/h (69mph). Stock except for Ermax +25 windscreen and smaller mirrors. Before with the stock windscreen I got it up to 95 (59) but didnt like the wind buffeting. But Im used to bikes with windscreens. My bike has done 900 km (560 miles) so just broken in (going slowly) and ...

Stop drinking red wine (has histamine in it). White wine is OK along with spirits and beer.
The white PCX really shows up dirt. I guess the silver or Black would hide dirt or pollen better? But white is cooler!

Maddie
I thought I read somewhere they had stopped selling the PCX in USA. And why does the US version not have the idle stop feature? Thats one of the great things about the PCX. It must cost Honda money to disable features and add stuff like indicators on stalks to make it comply to US standards.
