Re: Honda MSX125 (Grom)

Being 5'5 and not weighing all that much, I just wanted something small as I can bearly get 2 feet down flat on the PCX lol I thought the Grom would be a perfect size, and I love the look of them! plus the fastest I need to go is 50mph and that's only if I go to a certain place, so it's mostly 20-40...

Second Service

Hey, The PCX is coming up to 2500 miles and i've just emailed Thunder Road Honda Dealers to get it in for the Service (I paid £399 for 5 Services) I also mentioned in the email about replacing the Clutch parts, as in another thread someone said they had the same issue and had a part replaced, I was ...

Re: Honda MSX125 (Grom)

Thanks gn2, i'll see if the CBT guy emails back about lessons, if it isn't too costly then i'll do it with him, if they're charging quite a bit then i'll try and arrange for a friend to teach me.

Re: Honda MSX125 (Grom)

The fastest I go is 50mph so as long as the Grom can get to that without a struggle... i'm going to start annoying myself about it as I REALLY want one, but have to learn all about the gears etc first, so I can't see it being any time soon, but i'm such an impatient person lol

Re: Honda MSX125 (Grom)

Thanks a lot dkazzed.. i've emailed the guy I did my CBT with to see if he does any lessons for geared Bikes at all, will see what he says, I was going to buy the Bike and practice on my street, and once I got the hang of it a little was going to ride to the nearest quiet Car Park to open it up a li...

Honda MSX125 (Grom)

I REALLY WANT A GROM! I want to start getting on geared Bikes, and I love the look and size of the Groms, BUT, i've never been on a geared Bike before, I did my first CBT in 2012 on a 50cc Scooter, and since then have had Scooters (1 50cc and 4 125cc) Are gears hard to do/get used to if you've never...

Yeah that sort of thing... where did you get that from?
guessing they're not available in the UK so shipping will probably be a pain.

Re: Screen Vinyl / Decal

Checked around but can't seem to find anything here in the UK, i've seen some Bikes with decals on the screens but not sure where from... just wondering anyway, was either stickerbomb it myself or get a decal custom made, just thought if anyone on here knew of a place...

Re: Screen Vinyl / Decal

I've never really liked the screens on the PCX's, that's why on my previous PCX I had decals made of my company name etc, i've searched for alternatives/modified bits to replace the whole screen with but all a big expensive, and I use my Bike for a lot of work stuff, might not be the image above, i'...

Screen Vinyl / Decal

Hey, I was thinking of Sticker bombing my screen with my personal 'work mascot' Stickers I have, would be similar to this, my mascot as different Marvel characters... but having Stickers overlapping I thought it might look a bit crap and not a clean/flat look. I was wondering if anyone knows where I...

Re: iPhone 6 Mount

Got the mount today.... bit of hassle regarding the U-Bolt, was a little bigger than what I was told I needed, so I took one of the wire tidy/straps off the right side and used that so it wasn't metal on metal..... and I ended up having to hacksaw the bolt to make the remaining bits shorter as they ...

Re: iPhone 6 Mount

Went with the Ram Mount and X-Grip after all... about £56 total (3 separate bits) went with the U-Lock for the mount, going to see if it'll fit in the middle of the bar (right in the middle, between the 2 clamps which hold the actual handlebar on) and then have the phone coming down instead of up of...

Re: iPhone 6 Mount

I've decided to just have it hanging from around my neck instead so it just sits in my lap sort of thing, I use it as I need to know when I get a call or text, and obviously don't want to keep having to quickly look at it at lights, or pull over if i think i've heard it and so on, but can't find any...

iPhone 6 Mount

Hey, Does anyone know of a good mount to hold the iPhone 6? I get really wary with my Phone on the Bike as the amount of bumps and uneven roads and potholes etc around ere, the Bike it all over the place, so I need a mount that will firmly hold onto the Phone, BUT I don't want one that comes far out...
