Before entering intersections I like to both ways as measure of self preservation. And of course the wearing the HiViz riding gear. A lot of these motorcycle/scooter crashes can be avoided by better defensive riding.

Been a while since Iv'e stopped by. Been Riding my "other bike". Well, at least mine is a Honda. But, that Burg does look sweet. And the photography is great as always.

Good point! Some helmets are not good with the Sena mount. Will look into that.

SECoda - Thinking about an upgrade for my Husband. Nolan N104 Hi-Viz Helmet. Can get them for around 350 at Revzilla. I personally don't want a modular helmet. But, my Husband loves them. They are not as safe as a full face.

Homie, SECoda and Whitenoise glad to hear from you @Whitenoise - Johns bike does not have ABS. SECoda noticed that right a way. If he had, He would not have made the screeching halt. My bike has it as well as the DCT. John's bike has the manual transmission like most motorcycles. Google DCT for some...

Our scooters sure took a back seat to our bikes. John gets out on the scoot to go shopping once and a while. I have not. The CTX do have the O ring chain and we use the chain wax stuff. I use it after wet weather and about every 500 miles. Still have yet to to the complete cleaning of the chain yet....

Got 2,000 miles on my new bike. Made a video of one of our rides that I would like to share. Hope all is well with everyone. Been away riding haven't had a chance to see whats been happening here lately.

Was planning a coffee run after work. But, the weather turned poor. Took the car and went for sushi instead.

That is a common thing among the Harley guys, all dark attire and half coconut shells for helmets. Or, no helmet. same thing I guess. Then I come along in my 'Stick out like a thumb' Hi-Viz riding gear. Sometimes they wave. Their bikes sound like farts in the distance. I wish them well. @fish - nice...

Found a neat coffee shop in St. Clair along the river. Wee bit of a ride from were we live. They also serve beer and wine and sell cigars. We ride our motorcycles there. Place is bike friendly.

@Valiant - The Honda CTX700ND is a great bike from my perspective. Has the DCT transmission. Don't have to shift. Does have manual mode if you do what to shift. I watched your video and noticed that you mentioned me in it. I wear boots that cover my ankle but not moto boots. May get those in the fut...
