Been trying to read the posts about Charnley's PCX adventure since stumbling upon a post re. his trip.
So, how far did he get on the PCX, and do we know what broke to end this adventure on his scooter?

Re: Spanner Wrench for rear shocks
Hey BRed , You said... "Later on, I found an Ohlins spanner that also worked." I contacted Ohlins... and they said all they have are specifically for their products. Which one did you use... and where can it be purchased? Can anyone else give me specific info on the Brand and Model# of a ...

1985 Honda TV Spot Velvet Underground!
Velvet Underground's Lou Reed sang Walk On The Wild Side in the early 70's and an ad agent sold this music to Honda for a commercial for their scooter in 1985. A remarkable bit of salesmanship - if you've ever heard the song! Great piece of music but the lyrics are a little advanced for a gentleman ...

Re: How a CVT works - youtube
I don't think Honda ever made a lousy 2 wheeler.
I've been riding them for 4 decades.

Re: Bestem or LEDs on the rear?
seems pics to large. need to resize them Looks good. Nice job! Are you going to set it up so that it is removable? My one complaint of this Bestem 929 is that I can hear it moving a slight bit over bumps. I have no interest in removing a top case once installed, so if I go with this Bestem on my Fo...

Re: Anyone been in here?
The CVT cover was easy to remove, but it uses 3 different length screws so there was a little trial and error putting it back on.... Thanks for your reply! Yes, the first thing I wanted to do with my Kymco was get a look at the guts - under the seat. Crazy easy on the Kymco - 5 mins I'm in there lo...

Re: Mirror extensions

Re: Anyone been in here?
[quote="BRed"]this shows it a little clearer...... Some pics from an early teardown I did just to familiarize myself with the scoot..... I plan to use the Forza as a light tourer and you never want to have to learn these things on the side of the road. As with most Honda "plastic bike...

Re: How a CVT works - youtube
Was comparing prices of a 300cc Honda scooter to a 300cc CB300F Honda motorcycle. The bike is $1600 less than the scoot. Dealer said CVT is about $1000 more expensive to produce.
Wife said she wanted to go with....otherwise I'd have a CB300F in the garage, instead of
the Forza.

Re: Mirror extensions
One must be careful theading on the mirrors.....would be easy to drop one while fitting them the "wrong way round".
I nearly dropped them a time or two....and they probably don't bounce too well.

Re: 2nd service on my PCX 125
Thailand (in my opinion) must be an absolute Paradise, with pros and cons and, as I mentioned, I would not mind living there in the future, but we must admit that living in an European country also has its benefits ;) I have lived in four different countries and visited several others. I wouldn't n...

Re: Mirror extensions
HELP!! Anyone in UK managed to source mirror extenders which fit? I am on my second attempt...and beginning to feel foolish. Re: Mirror extensions
A neater alternative is to look round bikes in a a Honda dealer to see which mirrors have longer stems and buy a pair of those. Have never seen a sport bike, or any bike for that matter, that had nice long mirror arms. The two just do not go together....zoomy motorcycle and long mirrors. And, yes I...

Re: Rotella t 5 oil
If it is the same Rotella....a lot of scooter riders I know swear by this stuff for their scooters...... I think it has something in it they like .( shear strength, or something)..but I think it might have as much to do with the price! Again, the good thing is that the low price will encourage very ...

Re: Rotella t 5 oil
I wonder if anyone uses Rotella T5 oil in their PCX. Does it meet the specs for the PCX? I cant tell by the label--to many mysterious signifiers A good question for your dealer, if you trust them. At the price of this oil I'd hope it would encourage you to change it very often! Any scoot's life blo...
