Re: Big bike to scooter

Hi, new member here, hope everyone is well ! Returned from my local dealer earlier having placed my order for a new 2015 Pcx 125. Took one out over the weekend and I have to say I loved everything about it. I was a bit concerned as the main purpose of the scoot is a 30 mile commute for work and the...

Re: Life saving tip

I am exhausted mentally after a ride. I wish I could ignore the guy behind me because that would take a load off. I'm always playing different scenarios unfolding around me and its challenging. The lack of speed and rapid acceleration is on our side, the vast majority of scooter crashes on youtube a...

Re: Life saving tip

Great advise Jarec, especially since the recent legalization of pot in Colorado. I sincerely mean that, you need to REALLY maintain situation awareness with slow moving stoners on the streets and highways. Now I just realize you have the Hondels in your signature and I never get tired of clicking on...

Re: Security

I don't get it, wouldn't you just move to cutting the brake cable with a pair of cross cutters or saw thru the lever to free up a roll off? Why mess with sawing that off :) this is a fail.

Re: question to mechanics...

The guy had a full size cruiser he bought it for. It rates 1500 lbs but he said he could not get comfortable with his big bike on it. I would not lie about how it fits the PCX, you know me to be twice as anal as you WhiteNoise... you would find it satisfactory. And now my scoot is twice as clean as ...

Re: question to mechanics...

Alrighty then... going with the two hard points just before the center stand and letting the front contact fall where it will. Awesome! and its stable and rolls around. OH I will find use for this 8)

question to mechanics...

Can these be used with the lower plastics (on) without busting up stuff? Found it on CL for 50 bucks and figured it would come in handy for something someday. Wanted to play with it but now I thinking no stress points on the all plastic bottom of a PCX

That really pulls the front view in lean & narrow :) Yours was already slim compared to the 2015's but now that looks nice!

Re: Got Gas?

You do not want to buy these new gas containers. You will spend way too much time getting fuel out into your truck or car. They are designed to keep people from storing fuel. They cost more and work less, plus malfunction all the time. I prep and store enough fuel any time to evac and these totally ...

Re: Security

The big question I have, and I can't find the answer anywhere, is if I use a big chain, where do I actually lock it up to on the pcx?! I'd have thought the frame would be safest but can't see any gaps on pictures, is the back wheel ok? Back wheel better than front for sure! I was cuffing the forks ...
