Re: Ignition Left On Reminder?
Another idea might be as simple as a key tag like this. Would be hard to miss.

Re: Introducing Ourselves!
Speaking of helmet color, recently I was in my car and my dad was following me on his bike some distance back. Traffic was pretty heavy and we got separated a bit on the highway. He was wearing a new helmet he'd bought, in that hi vis yellow color. I was amazed at how well he stood out from traffic ...

Re: Ordered a new PCX 125 today
Most of the people around here are on Harleys, too. I've found that they will initiate a wave to another Harley, but if I'm on my PCX or old BMW airhead, I am ignored. Not cool enough to merit recognition. lol

Re: Ordered a new PCX 125 today
It's so hit & miss on waves. I've gotten to the point I just don't wave ever. I'm a PCX on an island! I stopped waving when I realized I passed a couple hundred cycles a day if the weather was good. Too much hassle, really, and it's not like I'm in some exclusive club where I see one other guy ...

Re: Ignition Left On Reminder?
Something like this might work for you, applied to the PCX instead of a car. There are PCX wiring diagrams posted somewhere on the forum if I recall. how to: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6kQRAc5mcn8 buzzer: http://www.napaonline.com/Catalog/CatalogItemDetail.aspx/Lights-On-Safety-Buzzer/_/R-NDP78...

IMG_20140611_115254.jpg You can see what the tall Givi looks like on the pcx by this picture of our bikes. Still, the tall windscreen works great and makes riding a lot more fun. Two red PCXs in the same household is such a blatant sign of superior taste and intellect that I can't hardly stand it.

Re: Post humpectomy - ectomy! Required mod on new Powerpcx
In defense of powerbypcx, their seats are pretty well documented here on this forum and on the web in general. While I understand that the OP is disappointed that the entire hump area was not removed, this information is pretty well known if one pokes around a bit prior to ordering. Myself and other...

Re: Crazy Deals on PCX 150s?
A lot of it is being in the right place at the right time, and being willing to wait for the right deal. When you get the hots for something, and have to have it immediately, you rarely get the best deal. I got my leftover '13 PCX last fall out the door for around $2800 if I recall. That's an averag...

Re: Will be getting new 2014 Forza next Friday
Thanks to all of you using this forum, its helped me make the decision to go for it. Former Ruckus owner, then traded it for a Buell Blast to learn to shift. 1000 miles was enough for me to want a scooter again. My only concerns are the weight of the Forza and likely future need of a bigger windscr...

Re: Took my first spill today
Those body panels come pre-painted from Honda. They are dirt cheap. Possibly so cheap it's not even worth filing an insurance claim over it. You'll be surprised, if you price them, how cheap the plastic is for the PCX. In all my years of riding, I've never seen pre-painted OEM replacement plastic th...

Re: rack no drilling
One thing. Make sure you drill the holes in the plastic tail panel large enough that when the rack is mounted, the 4 rack posts don't touch the plastic hole edges AT ALL. In other words, you want a couple mm of space around the entire post, no contact between rack post and plastic panel. I learned t...

Re: Introducing Ourselves!
We are both looking at replacing the stock windscreens with talller ones, probably Givi. My dad has the 2 piece adjustable GIVI on his Forza. I think it's the AF1123. It looks a lot better in person than it does in the online photos I've seen. He just rode from central PA to my place in Kansas City...

Re: Do you use the 12v socket on your PCX?
99% sure it's DC. 12v DC. It would have a different style socket if AC, probably, for one thing.

Re: Seats from Thailand
kcpcx - would you please provide a link or part # for that seat? Ask and ye shall receive. Oh, by the way, I emailed the guy who runs powerbypcx before I ordered. They give a discount to members of this forum. 10% I think. He emailed me a code to use at checkout. FYI. I believe his name was Jeremy,...

Re: NC750x DCT
I like the idea of the NC with the DCT and would like to test ride one. The thing that irks me is that more bikes aren't available with shaft or belt drive. It's not the end of the world, but it would be nice to have a belt drive like the current BMW F800GT but with Honda mechanicals. Shaft drive is...

Re: Seats from Thailand
I have a flat style Thai seat on my PCX. I love it. I have not had any problems with bumpy roads, etc. I can see how the backrest might be nice on a multi-hour trip, I guess, but I really like being able to change how far front or back I sit during a ride. I don't ride my PCX 200 miles from home, th...
