Re: Liberty150i ABS in the park

I love this scooter and I may buy one later this year, especially if Honda doesn't bring the new 2019 PCX ABS to Canada. I do prefer the flat floor board however. How do you like yours? How many miles on it? Any issues so far? Does it need frequent valve adjustments and if so, is access easy? What's...

Looks great, hope it makes it here. I'm looking to separate my CB300F into a super sport for fun and scooter for everything else.

Re: Freeway riding

The PCX is excellent for lane splitting in California. I think you'll be able to ride it without upgrading it. If you have to go home during the day when the traffic is lighter, just stick in the right lane but you won't be holding up traffic. I'd consider a Grom as well which has a bit of a lower t...

Oh hi there. Whoops I thought I had Fuelly banners already lol. I guess because I don't have a PCX and own a gas guzzling CB300F.

Re: Forza at 65-70mph with 135 lbs rider

The Forza should top out over 85 mph easy with a 200 lb rider. I think your expectations are reasonable, 60-70 with throttle to spare to pass people or get out of hairy situations.

Re: Bike theft who is responsible?

Someone can cut through 10mm of hardened steel with an angle grinder in 10 seconds. You can secure your bike all you want, a determined thief is going to get it. The best insurance is a theft or comprehensive insurance policy. My bike is stored for the winter and it's just sitting in my carport, not...

I wish my bike had CBS. I test rode a Honda Reflex with CBS & ABS and I thought it was brilliant.

I traveled Canada on a 300. Mind you with a 6 speed rather than a CVT but still, never felt short on power.

I was just in Chilliwack Sunday picking up a tent trailer and was thinking of you going through Hope. It was sunny and 8C out, I would've been out riding all day.

I got an anti-fog insert for my HJC CL-17 at a local dealer for $20 and it's the best thing ever. I'm cheap too but I'll take safety over saving money.

Nice choice, especially at that price it's a no brainer.

I think the improvements to the 2017 650s is substantial though.

Darn I would've bought into a raffle with a 1:100 chance of winning.

If you want to go on group rides, check out the BC Riding Community Facebook group. They have Groms and even 49ccs in the group so they don't go very fast. They have a Ride for Pie ride to Chilliwack Airport this Saturday.

Re: Making the rear brake pads last???

I almost never use the rear brakes on my bikes except in emergency stop situations or if I'm backing up my bike down a hill. The reason being that I want my rear brake use to be deliberate to avoid rear brake lockups. With that said, after having tried the combined braking system for the first time,...

Re: Salmon Arm finally

The Reflex is old and the Forza is underpowered. If you plan on riding any distance I would get a Burgman 400 ABS at the least. 95% of my riding is commuting and thus my prefered weight limit is 425lb. The Burgman 400 is expensive and close to 500lb and at that weight, I'd rather ride a V-Strom 650...

The Westside Road is beautiful, I live in West Kelowna so I've done the route several times. 7rv1MCyStIU It's raining on and off in the area, which is good news. July was a wet month so the forest fires come as a bit of a surprise. I test rode a Reflex on Friday. I don't know about the Forza but the...
