Dr Pulley sliders

Dr Pulley sliders on - it took about 30 min due to the EXCELLENT DIY thread over in the DIY/tech section. No surprises, I agree you can keep the lowers on with a lot less screws...LOL....the variator nut was not too tight, and easily broke free with a breaker bar. The OEM rollers I pulled out (USA P...

Variator mm

In the middle of swapping out my sliders… What millimeter is the big variator nut that pulls the whole thing off , is it 21 mm? Sorry to ask I've searched and I have a shop manual coming but it's not here yet

So again, no cool pics but so easy to do: removal of windshield to silica coat the shield, it came with a few dealer supplied micro scratches... 1. you will have to show a vid and explain (slider change) if that's a guard homie don't slide on the muffler much. Sorry, variator dr pulley slider change ....two mods done in aft. Yep, this air cleaner element is just for the belt. The regular air cleaner is inside the air cleaner housing above the left crankcase cover. You need to remove 7 screws to remove the cover to get at the element. This element cannot be cleaned and should be replaced every 12000 miles according to t...

So reading here, this air cleaner is not the air intake for the motor? And its just for the belt?, then what is filtering the air into the engine?… Where is that filter?

So today was the first arrival of many parts I expect from the vendors here, so here's the muffler garnish and a DIY fender bob below plate. Ill just choose an oil per the manual specs, prob 10-40 M1, and change it often. Its gotta be the easiest drain ive seen at a quart total , and no filter. So ill get a 5qt jug from amazon and change it every 3-5 months. I dont mind that sched at all. Bike used year round every day.
