Centre Stand

Hi everyone I know the centre stand has been covered before but I cannot find any other topic relating to my centre stand problem. Its been fine up until last week and now it isn't retracting fully up under the bike despite me oiling it with ACF50 for the last couple of days, been used frequently ba...

Re: Came off!!!

Yeh just spoke to my crew mate and he heard that someone had went off there a few weeks back and glad you're on the mand, Andy Barron would have been the cop. Maybe see you up this way sometime as Oban is notorious for 2 wheels particularly in the summer months, hope you manage to get some new wheel...

Re: Came off!!!

Not a nice corner to catch you out you could have ended upon top of the fish farm, its not a corner that catches many out well not any that we are sent to anyway, was it an Oban crew that picked you up, not me as I was in Portugal at the time.

Re: Came off!!!

Triaxor sorry to hear you came off your beloved PCX, the A816 Lochgilphead to Oban is a bummer of a road even in the best of conditions, personally I have never ridden it on my PCX but I have done in an ambulance so I hope my colleagues treated you well and you are on the road to recovery.

Re: What does your keyring look like?

Bigmike7801, I have a garage remote inside the flap on the left hand side, I have a Hormann garage door and I use the remote that fits into the charging port, very handy indeed.

Re: Valves

Thanks for your comments guys, I'm sure my main dealer would be aware of the valve check but as iceman says if it sounds ok then happy days all round, not my problem with warranty if main dealer doesn't check valves the blame lies with him, as I know feck all about engines I'll just act dumb.

Valves

Getting my 600 miles service this week, how important is it to get the valves checked, or is it a waste of time, any thoughts.

Re: Rear Brake Lever

Thanks you you for your prompt reply, just had a look, would it just be the case of tightening the nut at the end of the brake cable beside the rear wheel.

Rear Brake Lever

There is a lot of play in my rear brake lever compared to the front, when pulled on it very nearly touches the grip and doesn't stop that quickly, I only have 500 miles on the clock, does it maybe need adjusting.....

Nice views of my favourite city, roads very quiet and dark at 7.30am, did you forget to put your clock back an hour last week. Looking at buying the SJcam 4000 myself.

Re: New member from Manchester

Hi Fran really like the look of your screen, might be on the christmas list. I see you have an L plate fitted to your front fork, really interested where you got it from, I would have thought it would have hindered your steering but obviously not, mine is stuck to the front screen which I hate but w...

Re: New Red Honda PCX

My thought too iceman on the insurance thing, probably depends which copper pulls you over some would maybe warn you and others would do you, not worth the hassle. I too sometimes here the rattle from the rear L plate and I too have rubber in between, not sure what the answer would be, apart from do...

jojo87 why do you only have one L plate displayed, thought the law is one to front and one to rear, have the cops ever pulled you.

cheers j.d.b for the info, I would have noticed a leak as it lies on a concrete garage floor at home and at work, so as you say it may be bad prep.

Coolant for PCX 125

My coolant is below low after 200 miles and unfortunately my Honda dealer is closed for unknown reasons today, had a look in a car accessory shop and found Comma Xstream G30 antifreeze and coolant ready mixed, any thoughts out there. Or should I just hope my dealer is opened Monday.
