Re: Seats from Thailand
I have one similar to the second one (with the back rest) and don't have any problems. Does it sit any lower then stock height? I'm around 5 foot 8 and can not flat foot at a stop and would also like to drop slightly so I'm a little lower for my slightly too short givi windscreen and hoping to come...

Re: Anyone order from scooterpartsco.Com?
I'm going to have to call tomorrow if they don't respond to my email by time I wake up. Checked their website and it said my order was delivered, which it wasn't, and that worries me a little.

Re: Anyone order from scooterpartsco.Com?
Just after I wrote that I got an email saying it was shipped. I was just getting worried because I emailed them and haven't heard back in like 4 days.

Anyone order from scooterpartsco.Com?
Hello, was curious if anyone has ordered from scooterpartsco.com and how their transaction went. I placed an order for a malossi exhaust over a week ago and only thing I've been updated on is that they took money out of my account. Wrote them 4 days ago asking about and update and they aren't replyi...

Re: Little undecided on a windscreen
From what I've noticed the mpg readout is around 10 mpg higher than hand calculating it.. Normally I sit around 90mpg out the readout but when I do it by hand it comes out to 78-82mpg. I ride a little aggressive normally so that's why my numbers are low. I normally hit around 60-62 but I'm 220 pound...

Re: Regular Long Distance Riding
People on here have done similar, I've rode mine for around 3 hours between going through towns and running 50-60 and the only thing I feel it ever hurt was the gas milage which drops to around 70 area when running those speeds on average. Pcx has a pretty great motor and it incredibly reliable

Re: Little undecided on a windscreen
Where did you order from? I'm waiting for revzilla to get more stock and tour and ride was out as well. Saw some random website that I can't remember the name of had them in Stock but the site did not feel safe to me so I didn't want to order thru them. I'm thinking about doing the stripping around ...

Re: Little undecided on a windscreen
Went through your blog and windshield is quite big.. Saw pictures of you on the bike and I am much shorter torso wise than you, jblye. Does look pretty slick with the stripping across the screen though! Was going to pull the trigger on the tall givi but I saw revzilla and tour and ride are currently...

Re: Little undecided on a windscreen
See that's something I was worried about but I did expect to hear that... Sure it can't be overly worse then with the stock setup bc wind pushes me all over on some of the breezier days. I looked at the nationals and I like the look of the giviover it, no offense as I appreciate the input. I assume ...

Re: Little undecided on a windscreen
Good to know, I'm sure right now I'd really love that extra protection as its only averaging 40-50 degrees and would make the ride to work a little more enjoyable as it gets pretty chilly. I guess my last question is how does the big windshield handle the air burst one gets from passing a semi, with...

Re: Little undecided on a windscreen
How did it affect top speed for you, Mel? I know you'll get a couple mph faster then me with the older bikes gearing but I'm just worried about the extra drag, as well as how warm does it get with the minimal airflow in the summertime? I assume you can Crack open the face shield on the helmet to coo...

Little undecided on a windscreen
Hello. I know there is Alot of talk on windscreens but can't find much on the exact truth as I see one say the tall helps stability as well as top end and other say it hurts it so I'd like to hear from others or the short is perfect for someone 6 foot tall yet not for someone who is 5'6"(which ...

Re: Misting mirrors
I used to use the old style barbosol foaming style shaving cream on my snowmobile helmet visor and glasses, would help quite a bit when i used to ride sled years ago.

Re: How-To: Glove Box Lock
Just wanted to say thanks for this thread! Because of you posting this i did the same thing today. When the dealer put my bike back together from being hit while it was at work, i couldn't use the glove compartment and when i got it open I busted the plastic tab off so it wouldn't close so this was ...

Re: Ignition issue?
Fantasy. After you've tried WD-40 and if it doesn't work. Wait a day or two and "paint" the key with a felt tip marker and see if/where the key is contacting any of the tumblers. It might just need a touch with a file. I will give that a try, it's gotten a little better now that I've been...

Re: Ignition issue?
Something I thought of. Before my pcx was hit by another car hard just enough to knock it over at work i never had an issue with the key not wanting to turn to on after the key has been in the lock position as it doesn't really do it much if i just turn the bike off and take the key with me to run i...
