Re: Let's Show "Celebrities" on Bikes n Scoots
It's possible he ("Jimmy", played by Phil Daniels) got off just before the cliff. . .I only saw the "scoot" take the dive and hit the rocks. I think that's definitely what happened. The film starts with him walking alone on the beach... it's really the closing scene played at th...

Re: Great scooter, lousy dealer?
You bought your bike from the bad dealer. Cycle Nation of Canton is the good dealer. That being said, you may or may not have a bad experience with them. Just know that we had 3 bad experiences with them. Example: The clutch bearing that goes bad on the PCX. My wife's bike had that problem and the ...

Re: Great scooter, lousy dealer?
We purchased my wife's PCX from a lousy dealer, and we found out that they had a lousy service department as well. We looked for a good dealer and found him 20 miles up the road. In a major city you can't expect to be lousy and keep attracting customers. I would not go back to that lousy dealer, so...

Re: recall notice - work already done
If a dealer did the recall, it's already in the system (you can bet the dealer did this--it's how he gets paid for the recall work). Don't overthink things--ignore the card if you don't have the item recalled or already had the work done. I threw my card out. :) Thanks... I guess one part of my bra...

Re: recall notice - work already done
Forza 300 (2014 model)... it was the September '16 fuel pump inlet cover (not the original fuel pump one which the dealer said was done prior to me taking delivery.)
I'm in the Atlanta area

recall notice - work already done
Just a small point... but yesterday I got a postcard reminding me to complete the safety recall announced in September. It also said "if your vehicle has already been repaired, please let us know by filling out the included Information Change card" My scoot has been repaired (the receipt s...

Re: seat damper
Thanks... I've been finding a few other threads about it on here too. Perhaps it is the temperature after all and I didn't notice it before.
I wish that seat worked like a dishwasher door where it stayed at the position you left it at.

seat damper
I took my Forza to the dealer yesterday for the latest recall work and now my seat doesn't stay up when it's lifted. I know I can take it back and have them fix it but it's quite a trek and I don't want to spend another 3 hours in their waiting room. Presumably they took the seat off to get to the f...

Re: Motorcycle Safety Class Cost
I paid $300 for a 2 1/2 day course in GA a while back
day 1 was theory
day 2 was on the bikes (that they supplied)
day 3 was the test (and it meant no DMV test was required if you passed)

Re: Left over, new, 2014 Forzas availiable
I would be very interested to see where you think you can get a new 2014 Forza for $2,999 in the US. Post a link to some dealer with that price. I would believe $4,999 or even $3,999 but not $2,999. I got my 2014 almost exactly one year ago and paid $4100 (plus "prep"/delivery/tax)... the...

Re: how to winterize?
thanks for the advice... not sure I'm ready to do an oil change myself yet (haven't reached the 600 mile service yet) The only thing I saw in the manual said to coat the chrome with rust inhibiting oil, place it on the center stand and position a block so both wheels are off the ground and either re...

how to winterize?
Hello All,
I bought my Forza last August (first two-wheeler of any kind) and am getting to the time where I need to winterize it.
Any tips on what to do? It will be garaged so I was going to throw a blanket over it and I'm in Georgia so it will get freezing but not excessively so.
Thanks
