Amazing trip!! Thanks for sharing.

After an accident I let my 2013 scooter with original battery sit for ten months. 10,000 miles on it. It fired right up. Air Temperatures varied between 50 and 65 maybe. Never much colder. It's kept in a parking garage, mild climate.

In a somewhat-related topic, does anyone have recommendations for a full-face helmet with good airflow that doesn't cost 10% of the price of the PCX? Also, affordable protective clothing? I have an unpadded leather jacket I wear when it's cooler out, but man, it's tough to wear on a sunny 90°-100° ...

Do you put the strap from one Cortech bag to the other above or below the seat? JIm The side bag strap goes over the outside of the seat. They have four attachment points. One on each side of the rear foot pegs, or someplace close, there's a bar to wrap around under the plastics. No need to remove ...

Saddlebags fit. I've used Cortech Super 2.0 36-Liter Saddlebags Color- Black and Cortech Super 2.0 24-Liter Tailbag Color- Black.

New to the forum and am all but certain I’m getting a new 2018 PCX but my only hesitation is that I’d like to ride it on the freeway for my commute. The hours I drive are highly congested and I just sit in 2-to-4 lane bumper to bumper gridlock traffic on 101 most days, jealouly watching motorcycles...

Mine too, but it's not a 22nd century bike. ;-)

My V-strom is off (over states speed) by 5mph under 65mph and gets worse above. Odometer on it seems off by 5%, on the high side.

Average temp on today's ride was 61. The highlight of the ride--some big boulders a mile or so from the Pacific Ocean.

I'm missing my scooter this week while it's waiting for me to get it fixed. I gave up on commuting on the motorcycle. Just too big for the stop and go traffic of California suburbania.

Thanks Oyabun and Mel46. I did replace the tires about 600 miles ago. So the dealer may not have tightened enough or something? Maybe tomorrow night I'll get some bolts in there and take it to the dealer Saturday for a chat. Glad I've got another twowheeler to ride, but the motorcycle is just so wro...

I left work tonight and after block or two the car in front of me was making a lot of exhaust noise. Loud enough that even honkerman night not like it. Here in desert dry California, I appreciated the green grass! Not nearly as much exciting curves as we've got, though.
