Re: Exhaust for a 2014 Honda Forza 300
I wouldn't be surprised if the PCX150 accelerates faster and handles hills better than a Grom, as it's appreciably better than a CB125E 5 speed. I don't think the Grom could handle my hills and weight combined, but the PCX manages impressively well.

Hi Frankie, that's good stuff. I'm in the process of doing the same thing to my PCX.

Hi Roger, its very expensive but the Tricolore graphics kit off Webike makes a black PCX standout and look good.

Hey Sendler, I've got 11g DP sliders waiting to go in, how many revs do you think they'll run?

Re: 2015 PCX 150 Black, added pinstriping
Ooh, that's quite lovely. If it wasn't for the blue caliper I would've suggested blue rim stripes for the black rims. But I think that's too much now. A bronze/gold caliper might've been a bit more classy for my tastes. Hell, bronze/gold wheels would do the trick. Well, one of those too. My family i...

The complete headlight assembly is pretty cheap at $120 USD. It even comes with harnesses for that price.

Re: Just rollers vs complete variator
Hey you! So my Dr Pulley 11g sliders turned up, cute little things they are. The local distributor says that 11g sliders are comparable to 12~13g rollers... He also talked me out of clutch shoe springs, saying they are more so for race applications and that they'd make life too interesting trying to...

Thanks G, I won't take my chances on a 125 exhaust then.

PCX 125, 125 ESP vs 150 ESP exhausts?
Hi gang, Is there any difference to the exhaust fitment between the 2012 125, 125esp and 150esp models?. I see on Webike they make reference to the 125 type 1 and type 2 (ESP?), and then they have the 150. I could imagine they changed the head on the 125 ESP and then maybe have a larger port on the ...

Re: 2015+ North American PCX150 (LED) Variator Mod Feedback
Thanks Mr Jaz, I'm not particularly bothered that they aren't the same year model. I'm interested in the character of the power delivery and the results from your perspective. My 2012 might not be quite as hampered speed wise, so I'm starting off down a different route - 12g sliders, clutch/contra s...

Re: 2015+ North American PCX150 (LED) Variator Mod Feedback
Hey there Hugh,
Thanks for the feedback. How is the acceleration now with the 10g rollers and undisclosed variator of choice? Any flatspots in the power band?
Can you please PM me which variator you have?
Cheers, Gav.

I just checked the maintenance schedule and it simply says to replace every 2 years. It doesn't even specify the weight or grade of oil to use.

Re: Playing the guitar after a scooter wreck.
My experience is opposite, playing down near the bridge gives a sharper, tinnier, twangy sound to my ears. I tend to pay closer to the fretboard for a more mellow sound. But I started on a classical nylon string guitar, so that's just how I roll.

Re: Just rollers vs complete variator
Kitaco sounds problematic if its only ideal with their own belt, not good when you need a belt in a pinch. I can only find Gates, KN Planning and Daytona belts on Webike even though they sell two different Kitaco variator kits. Amazon have a Yokokzuna high speed Pulley kit with drive face and 12g ro...

Re: Just rollers vs complete variator
Great feedback guys! Based on your comments I'll definitely be getting a variator kit in a couple of months to help round out the performance. But since my initial list of mods is pricey I'm just going to start off with an exhaust, 12/13g Dr Pulley sliders and Wirus clutch springs. This way I get so...

Re: Just rollers vs complete variator
just sliders is the best bang for the buck. for around $30 you gain 1 to 2 mph top speed and lots of acceleration. I use 12g sliders in my 150 and think it was the single best mod, even better than bigger cam, exhaust, etc. If you need to go around 75mph get a aftermarket variator. I did same with ...
