Re: Oil leak on rear housing and tire.
Is there any oil in the little clear tube on the back of the airbox? Also, you can squeeze the edges of the little black tube next to it and see if any oil leaks out there, too. This is nothing to do with the air filter, but there is a breather tube coming up from the CVT that goes into the side of ...

I haven't heard from my buddy yet. If I had a selfie stick I could put my phone under the scoot to check, maybe?
If the crankcase isn't cracked or damaged around the centre stand mounts, everything should be OK.

Re: Chicaboo's BBK kit and performance mods.
Update: It started raining today, so I went out to the verandah and hopped on the scooter and duck-waddled it forward a couple feet to keep it dry. Hmm, the scooter seemed to squat down an extra couple of inches and made that unmistakeable squishy squeaky flat tyre sound. :( I tried looking at the b...

It scraped on a speed bump a little earlier, which is why I turned around and head home, then having the accident the next time it scraped.
I think it's a combination of rear shock pressure, tyre pressure and the angle of the roundabout being on a hill catching the centre stand?

Re: Chicaboo's BBK kit and performance mods.
Thanks Mr Rider, yep the helmet saved me getting knocked out. They are compulsory here across Australia, so it's really a non-issue. The big plus is that my jacket seemed to save me getting any injury to my arm and shoulder, except where it was pushed into my ribs. If I had CE armour in my pants, I ...

Re: PCX 150 Variator Nut and Clutch Outer Nut
The clamps can be tricky, as you still somewhat need to compress the contra spring by hand first. It's nothing for a chicaboo, a fish, or a PCXdemon to compress a contra spring by hand, but maybe not all. :P You may want to pay attention to the condition of the 39mm nut on his clutch, too. They're a...

Re: PCX 150 Variator Nut and Clutch Outer Nut
You won't get that 39mm nut off with a wrench, it's only 2mm thick with rounded corners. It would just deform. That 39mm nut is made of weak pig/pop steel with a dodgy thread. So use a quality 39mm 6-sided socket. Add to that it has a huge amount of force behind it due to the contra spring, so you n...

Re: PCX 150 Variator Nut and Clutch Outer Nut
It's been two weeks since I changed my clutch, but from memory it's 22mm on the variator nut, 17 or 19mm on the clutch bell nut, and 39mm on the clutch nut.
