Re: Spot the difference - it's not the clock

How easy are these to fit really? The most I have modified my bike is adding a clock with an alan key and sinlge screw. Is this a job for me? (I'm not a complete idiot) but those wintery nights are arriving and this seems useful! are these them? http://www.amazon.co.uk/Oxford-of693-Hot-Grips-OF693/d...

Re: Xena Disc Lock Alarm (XX6 model)

Always use a rear chain lock bike thieves can just mount the front end of your bike onto a over sized skateboard and push it away True, still would hopefully set off the alarm and attract some unwanted attention. On another note. Where do you put your disc lock pin through? A or B? I do A. http://i...

Re: Xena Disc Lock Alarm (XX6 model)

I will try the 6 o'clock position, I was just concerned it may be a fault as it seemed to activate the alarm at exactly the same time after arming, twice in a row. It probably isnt ideal for overnight, but its sat just outside my bedroom window, so is probably a better security device than just a ch...

Xena Disc Lock Alarm (XX6 model)

http://www.sierrabmwonline.com/images/40100151-2.JPG I got one of these a few weeks ago, and for £35 am very impressed with the build, volume, function. But last couple of times using it, I have set the alarm and then gone indoors and the alarm has gone off after about 5mins.. Then it doesnt go off...

TopBox Plate

I just noticed that my topbox plate appears to be missing the plastic cover bit, covering the criss-cross mould.. Should all topbox plates have a cover here? It does look like there are impressions to allow for one, but no screw holes to screw 1 down. I guess I should get on to my dealer who fitted ...

Re: New Black PCX125

yep. Its pretty chunky.. only downside is I would prefer an integrated chain lock rather than a padlock one which effectively is 3 bits. But you cant have it all!

Xena xx6 (alarm disc lock) coming tomorrow. Might use just that while its sitting in back garden in ear shot. :)
