Fellow St Louis Peeps help pls

I'm rapidly moving towards my 600 mile oil change/maintenance.

Can I ask who you guys are using? Are you going back to your dealer or doing it yourself?

I'm a little OK a lot intimidated to do it myself.

Help? Opinions? Ideas.

What's a girl to do? lol :?

Re: Can I change the brake levers

No I haven't bought any yet. I'm still looking. When I went to my dealer they said no they didn't know of anything. My guess is because they are mostly a Motorcycle dealership with scooters being a newer market for them. It looks like this is something I will need to change out on my own so I'm read...

Re: Oh Hellz no

I'm in the process of purchasing a lock. Heading over to Cycle Gear tonight to look into it, just waiting for my SO to arrive so we can ride together.

The bitch of it is, she was/is brand new, if anyone was going to scratch her dammit that was my right. :?

People never cease to amaze me.

Oh Hellz no

I came out of work today around lunch to see my scoot NOT where I parked it but rather perpendicular to the spot I parked her in. :o :( I go over to her and notice that she's got a scratch/scrap on her cherry red paint by the front light, the front blinker is scrapped up, the light itself is scrappe...

Can I change the brake levers

on the PCX?

My hands are smallish and I find myself straining to reach the brakes comfortably.

Has anyone ever changed the Brake Levers

on their PCX 150? I'm assuming based on other threads that they are the same as the ones on the 125.

I'd like to change the stock ones out.

Help?

Re: CycleShell

Welcome to the forum Depthman. My SO rides a motorcycle and cannot understand for the life of him why I ride a PCX 150. My opinion is different 'strokes' for different folks. I just wasn't interested in learning how to shift, I've driven an automatic since my teens and figured meh why change that no...

Double Ditto, But riding in the wind scares the hell outta me  You'll get used to it, all I can tell you is practice, practice and venture slowly out of your comfort zone. I know for me recognizing this truth helps me take my time in venturing into the real world. When the wind is whipping sid...

Re: New Rider

good lord it's just such a different ride. The Piaggio's tires are wider so the ride seemed sturdier? But the handling of the PCX is so whisper light and intuitive. I just have to hint of where I wish to turn and I'm leaning into the corner. On the typhoon I needed to constantly be on the throttle w...

Re: New Rider

OMG I have much love for this scoot. Let me say the typhoon 125 had its purpose it got me addicted to scootering. But it's like a pinto compared to the mustangesque vibe I get from the 150. I didn't get a chance to ride as much today as I'd prefer but tomorrow just a few hours away so that will be r...

Re: New Rider

TAZ- It is required by the USA Department Of Transportation (DOT) that the PXC (along with ALL motorcycles) have turn signals on stalks. The DOT also deemed the idle stop feature unsafe for use on USA roads, so it will not be an option on any stock machine sold in the USA Eddie thank you for answer...

To answer as many questions as possible. I'm in the US in MO. The PCX 150 just came out here, I purchased the second one at the dealership, there are more on order. Taz I don't have answer to your question my apologies. I will take a photo of her once she's delivered today. As to the difference betw...

Re: PCX150 for a 5'3" girl with short legs?

I'm of similar height. 5'3" with 28" inseam.

I just purchased the PCX 150. I can "flat" foot her when I'm in my cycle boots.

I fit her better than I have ever fit any other scoot or bike even my Typhoon 125 can't compare with how much better I fit on the PCX 150.

Hi all:

I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Gail and I just purchased a Red 2013 PCX 150. I take possession this weekend. :D

I currently own a Piaggio Typhoon 125.

I look forward to taking her home on Saturday.
