Rear Axle nut - Torque spec?
With less than 900 miles on my PCX I found a nail embedded in the tread of my rear tire yesterday. :x Taking the rear wheel off was easier than I thought. The 2 Youtube videos I found were sort of helpful. One guy actually took his muffler heat shield off first. Another guy took his right sid...

One suggestion. The bookmark in my browser doesn't show any icon. Would it be possible to have an icon in the favourites list for the site? I searched for appropriate icons and found this: . . . . Oh come on, the scooter says "icon" http://www.cyrilhuzeblog.com/wp-content/uploads/Ic...

Re: The Extended Warranty Question
My thoughts in favor are that this is a new model scooter and engine, and I don't want to be a part of a first model year design issue. The 125 has been out a couple of years; has that been at all prone to any costly problems? Your rationale is not valid. The 150cc engine is a variation of the alre...

Re: Average fuel per bar?
How many miles is everyone getting for the first bar? (I know riding techniques/speed effects this.) And how much fuel is supposed to be left with 1-2 bars? (My manual doesn't seem to tell me.) As others here have said, the fuel indicator bars are purely abstract and are not even linear from bar to...

Any idea if the estimated 68 MPG for the Forza is based 30 - 40 MPH avg. or 50 - 60 MPH ish? Not sure where you got that 68mpg figure from ... Right here: http://powersports.honda.com/2014/forza/innovations/pgmfi.aspx "With plenty of power to carry you and a passenger too, the Forza features l...

Re: pcx125 ..600mile maintance??
Lol I change the oil .....and I see a lot of people talking about the Valve Clearance doesn't need to be adjusted (so often) . A guy said his scooter has 10,000 miles and he checked his valves 4 times and they were fine. That is the general belief. Honda is overly conservative in the valve adjustme...

The dealer should be able to get one for ya, or get one online from helminc.com THANKS MATEY! Doesn't seem they have the PCX manual anymore? Try here: http://www.helminc.com/helm/product2.asp?Make=AHC&Model=SCOO&Year=2013&Category=1&class_2=AHC&mk=Honda+Motorcycle&yr=2013&am...

Re: Possible rear wheel issue?
I spoke with my dealer this morning about this. He and one of his techs were able to do the same thing with a new PCX on the floor. You really have to grab a handful of tire and press pretty hard to detect any movement and they say this is normal. They did offer to take a look at it so I might ride...

Good news. I hope it doesn't make that di di di di noise Steve Austins bionic ear made when he was listening to something 2 miles away. That would get annoying after a while. :) Steve Austin had the bionic eye. Jamie Summers, the bionic woman had the ear implant. http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-uhbqprI9A...

I just performed my post break-in oil change (560 miles) over the weekend and used Castrol Edge 5-W30.

Thank you.

Here in the Seattle area of Washington state I get all positive reactions. Lots of waves and a few nods of the head. No biker has shown any disrespect where I live. I never got any wave when I used to ride my old 50cc that looked like a Vespa, just apparent pity. Now total respect. I used to live i...
