Re: My new Forza 125 has arrived
Hi, I looked at a Forza 125 the same colour last week at my local Honda shop looks good but I'm curious as to the performance against a pcx as it is much heavier , I am also interested in the ride quality against a Pcx so has anybody ridden both. Spag for the last two years I have holidayed in Croa...

Office-friendly riding footware
I started commuting to work with my new scooter. It's mostly a city ride and I enjoy it a lot. At the moment I am wearing my regular ankle boots but I am aware that they don't offer enough protection. I am looking for protective ankle boots with zipper that don't look like the racing boots or cowboy...

Re: My new Forza 125 has arrived
Proper mounting procedure: bike not running, rider mounts feet on ground hands on bars stabilizes bike, pillion mounts second. Proper dismount: the opposite. I fully agree. Unfortunately, not possible at the moment, until her leg gets strong enough. We are very careful. I firmly hold bars and brake...

My new Forza 125 has arrived
My brand new beauty has arrived My Forza 125.jpg and spring weather with it too. It's packed with technology, it's comfortable and powerful. The storage space is impressive, especially with the Top Box on. No problem riding with the passenger. Getting on and off is still a bit challenging for my wif...

Re: Smartphone case for Forza 125 or GPS
To follow up on this subject My Honda dealer has obtained a sample smartphone holder. I've managed to squeeze my smartphone size of Samsung note into the box. Very tight. It would even accommodate an L-shaped charger plug. but The limiters constantly squeezed my phone at the on/off button so it went...

Re: Riding with a passenger
I love those Velo Solex things. I have yet to ride one but I want to. The idea of front wheel drive on a motorised bicycle intrigues me. :) As far as I remember, the gas line was connected to the front brake lever. So you would go full-throttle once the levers were released. Full speed with hands i...

Re: Riding with a passenger
I know lots of folks like those tiny clown cars, and yes they are cute collectors , but us bigger folks go for gusto.. That's a really nice one. On the narrow Mediterranean streets though you could hardly make the corner in one go while those "clown cars" would just pass by. I would defin...

Re: Riding with a passenger
On the subject of riding two up, it is much more difficult to ride with a passenger, and stopping takes longer, so practice before getting out on public roads. The bike can handle the load. It just does not respond as quickly, and it is not as easy to balance when sitting at a light or turning a co...

Re: Riding with a passenger
Spaguar, that's a beautiful car! Sorta reminds me of a raised Karmann Ghia :) (my uncle had a early model Ghia, hardtop, he had it shipped over from Germany. Ignition was Not on the dash. Very unique. Oh and I drove around a 1975 Fiat X19 for a short time. What was cool was its' removable top! Once...

I am so impressed how my first thread developed, with such interesting side-tracking. I am also very happy seeing no haters and no bullies. Kudos to the moderator! To contribute to Lilly's and Mel's interesting stories, I have started my motoring on both 2 and 4 wheels long before the legal age. My ...

Re: Where do you park?
Hey Dave, I've got muscle cramps just reading your post. I am 59 and I definitely will not do such an exercise. In my young days, in my country, if you wanted to ride or drive any kind of motor vehicle, you had to know all about it's mechanics and be prepared to repair it on the road. Sometimes even...

Re: Riding with a passenger
I've ridden two-up frequently on my old Chinese 125 that was at least 6 bhp down on the Forza 125. You learn quickly, as the rider, to preserve momentum. I drove my Foster Mum's old Citroen Dyane a bit so I now that you should be familiar with that concept in the 2CV. Something for the pillion to l...

Smartphone case for Forza 125 or GPS
support-smartphone-honda-forza-125.jpg Honda offers OEM smart phone support with USB charger included. I am considering to purchase it and have it installed and delivered to me with my new Forza 125. I don't talk too much on the phone but I am quite dependent on GPS. The problem is that I can not g...
