Re: Does size matter - or more to it?

I can’t step back without also saying “thank you” to Mel46. His responses thus far, to previous questions I've posed, has always been positive. I agree with his comments on the trike featured in those other pages on this forum - it looks good and is a credit to it's owner - but I think that was a bi...

Re: Does size matter - or more to it?

Wow .... some very philosophical meandering there folks - thank you one and all. Special thanks perhaps to ‘easyrider’ for a very comprehensive analysis of the choices, the comment re gradients is very applicable in the light of my homeland - one favourite singalong being “We’ll keep a welcome in th...

Re: Does size matter - or more to it?

Lilly - that all sounds very pleasant - heart warming (thank you) - the trouble is, at 72 years of age, I guess I'm in more need of something to stir my soul, not calm it. And guess what - when I look at my own question with that thought in mind - I reckon I've found the answer. But I'd still like t...

Does size matter - or more to it?

Perhaps directed to PCX migrants who have upsized to the Forza 300. There's an obvious difference in physical size between the two (PCX125 / Forza 300) plus a mighty jump in power - particularly 125cc to 279cc - but is the Forza a completely different character in refinement, fit and finish and gene...

Re: Valve adjustment access.

If you're buying an adjustable spanner, make sure you get a metric one... Here you go. Thank you GN2 - and thanks to davenowherejones for the pic - am so smiling here :) - your username has always struck a chord with me as I'm from Wales and my name is ...... (ain't many of us left now - they've al...

Re: Valve adjustment access.

Forza valve check interval is 16,000 miles so not going to need doing very often. If you do 5000 miles a year you've got three years to save up to have a shop do it. X2... best logic ! Yes - I like that idea too, thank you. I'd read so often about the PCX and the 5000 mile check/adjustment (and how...

Re: Valve adjustment access.

Thank you all - I'm having a second childhood and researching having a TRIKE o_O . I'm in touch with a conversion specialist and had thought to go for the PCX150 in lieu of the 125 - a little extra punch to drag the extra wheel and weight. But Honda never imported the 150 into the UK so I won't go t...

Valve adjustment access.

I'm not an owner yet but am looking at my options, having studied the PCX for quite some time. I've now 'factored-in' the Forza as an alternative to the PCX, favouring the Forza 300. Having read the lengths owners need to go to to access the PCX head for valve adjustment, I'm asking if the Forza is ...

Re: Help the forum! Donate today!

Hi, I've been browsing for a while, then joined officially and, with the possibility of posing many questions, I felt it right to donate, though I admit this initial input was just $10. I now think that I didn't post my username (erisaman) when making the donation. Apart from a donation - I want to ...

PCX imported by Honda into UK?

Hi, as per title - did Honda ever import the PCX150 into the UK? I find references to them being in the UK - but were they imported privately? I'd be pleased to have any experiences or opinions on importation - I'm intending converting to a Trike so, with the extra weight and drag of three wheels in...

Re: Oldie newbie saying "Hello".

Too late to ‘edit’ my last post so forgive this amendment. I had commented that I had assumed the PCX150 had not been imported into Europe. I have now found extensive reports that the 150 is/was built in Italy with owners resident throughout Europe. Maybe the 150 is indeed available in the U.K.? Adv...

Re: Oldie newbie saying "Hello".

Thank you for the welcome and the advice. Yes, the 'training wheels' seem quite prevalent but maybe I'm a purist and thus prefer to change the rear end for the differential and a wheel each side of me. As with all things, I started off humbly, looking at the 50cc PYG offerings from China (rebranded ...

Oldie newbie saying "Hello".

Hi, spent a few years drifting from Forum to Forum, contributing whenever possible but less so in recent years. I've now 'discovered' the potential pleasures of scootering on the PCX and am pleased to jump into this forum with a post or two. Trust me - as a real raw recruit, there will be many more ...
