Re: Videos Won't Play
It's working! Great service - thank you! (I'm surprised no one else noticed ....) I've noticed for quite awhile -- actually since joining last month. But since I saw no current topics on it (you're the first), I figured it was ongoing. Also, I'm at work and I try not to view too many videos. I'll c...

Re: Removing CBS?
I don’t know where everybody gets this that the braking system is bad on the PCX. I have ridden for 40 years and I’ve clamped down on both my pcx levers in a couple emergency situations, and gotten great results. My CBS will stay, You may be different. I agree with this! I've had my 2018 PCX almost...

Re: New-to-me PCX in Portugal
After a month or two of evaluating my options I finally got myself a PCX. I test rode the new model and chased local classifieds for used bikes for a while. In the end I bought a 2017 matte grey model with about 5500km on it and a year of warranty left. It came with a top box, which I consider abou...

Re: Sena 10S Review(s)
We jumped up to the 30k recently, good speakers and the mesh intercom is amazing. I didn't feel the need to jump in at that price point so I opted for the 10S. It does all I need it to do. Mesh is a great additional feature though. I've heard users having problems with music cutting out or hearing ...

Re: Sena 10S Review(s)
I want a new model with FM radio. Sometimes my phone screws up and I'd like to be able to quickly switch to radio. I enjoy listening to morning shows too. I recently purchased the Sena 10S and it has FM radio. So far, I'm pleased with the functionality; you have to read the manual and learn how to ...

Re: Advice on reflective wheel tape installation
Yeah, never did locate that half used roll of rim tape in my garage. After 2 hrs, I got up off the concrete and threw it so hard it bounced off a few walls and went somewhere behind one of the 9 boxes of Xmas lights, that may or not work. I peeled the mess off of me, the scoot, the floor, and curse...

Re: Advice on reflective wheel tape installation
This is one of the most difficult things you will do. It rates right up there with carbon fibre wrap %$#@& I ended up with wads of wasted material and a wounded ego. I would rather do a valve clearance check on a PCX than try to apply Pro Grip wheel tape to a rim (Pro Grip is better suited for ...

Re: Advice on reflective wheel tape installation
So, I bought some wheel tape last week and attempted to install them on my wheels this past weekend. The brand I purchased was Pro Grip. I pulled up some YouTube videos to familiarize myself with how to use the applicator and all was good; it didn't look difficult at all. Well, to my surprise, I ha...

Re: New PCX Rider
If it can climb a San Francisco hill then I am 100% sold. I been to SANFRAN and those hills are no joke! Yes, IvyGodivy. I can attest to the fact that the PCX will climb our very hilly terrain. My very first ride was to attack some of our toughest hills. The 153cc is solid. I would not go for anyth...

Re: New PCX Rider
Probably is good for smaller riders , but I rode both a scooter and a smaller Honda motorcycle in Frisco yrs ago....found, at 6'3", 175lbs, I really appreciated the bike's gears for both climbing, and descending the hills! Easier on the engine and the brakes. Fish Hey, fish. Yup, the PCX is ve...

Re: New PCX Rider
Nice! I'll bet a PCX is just perfect in San Francisco (on all but the steepest of climbs). I can't think of anywhere where you can really break 50 in the city limits (legally or not). You've ridden before, so you know you are invisible - even moreso on the smooth, quiet PCX. Be hyper-careful! You'r...

Re: New PCX Rider
You made a nice choice - and a wise choice, for SF. I lived out that way two years, in the Navy...beautiful city (before its current issues) but the hills, with stop signs halfway up/halfway down...made driving in town a terror, for me with my VW Vanagon camper with manual shift. As a new owner of ...

Re: New PCX Rider
Forget the Grom, I test rode it once and at the time had a PCX125. The PCX125 handled better, and had a stronger motor. I don't like to shift either, so I am a scooter guy just like you. I have to agree with you about the Grom. It was a fun little bike but not practical for me; and even smaller whe...

New PCX Rider
Hello All, Got my 2018 PCX 150 two weeks ago. Had not ridden a motorcycle or scooter in almost 10 years. Previously, I owned a KTM 690 SMR (my last bike), Suzuki SV650 (second bike), and my first bike which I learned to ride on was a Honda CB400 Hawk. I also had a Honda Elite 80 before getting a mot...
