Re: Go 4 Sales!

I'm using a surge protector with multiple outlets... so I flip the power switch on it and whatever is plugged in comes to life.
Yeah I think the "receptacle adaptor" would be the easiest way to go about this. ;)
Maybe use a T or similar to connect the two lights???

Re: Parking brake

Well... it sounds like you have all the parts.
Start replacing the parts and the "cable to cbs" should make sense.
I don't remember how that attaches exactly... the parking brake was one of the first things I removed :)

Re: So, how'd that engine mod work out for you?

Have about 700 miles on my Yuminashi cam, rockers, double valve springs, intake manifold, injector and throttle body. So far so good ;) ...better than vario and sliders alone, for sure. I would like to make the same mod on my 125 PCX because a big bore kit I'm afraid also that it will be too much. ...

CBS Removal

This is for sol.like and anyone else interested. If you have to ask why, then you wouldn't understand   Remove what ever panels are in the CBS components way( sorry I don't have stock panels so I can't help there). Then just unbolt the cbs unit, 2 brake cables and the hoses/brake line for...

Re: Getting ready to buy soon.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the step-through look either... I think the dashboard of the PCX is nicer as well. There also seems to be a lot of wasted space in between the top of the rear tire and the fender. I know it has a horizontal shock but... The seat height is also about 1" taller. Still lean...

Welcome, you must mean CBS.(combined brake system)
Yeah take off the windshield and dash cover to get at it.
I like low-tech so I have removed my CBS system ;)

Hi, your location would be helpful.
Can you change km/mph on the 15's?

That seems a little low... but give it some time to break in/ first oil change.?
Are you a big guy? I don't think I've ever gotten more than 90 ish mpg with or without mods... but I'm big and have little to no aero :)

Thanks for the review 8) If I can find a donor forza I would like to combine the two and have the best of both bikes :D ...or at least a
ultralight forza with some pcx and ruckus parts for good measure. ;)

Valiant you need all the Yuminashi intake parts they are not compatible with the stock parts. TB, intake manifold, big injector etc... Along with the cam, rockers and springs, I feel as if I achieved exactly the "5 mph bump" (from stock) you mentioned... and if I were to go with the big bo...

Re: So, how'd that engine mod work out for you?

I totally agree with the "sketchy" Asian customer service on performance parts. I can't say I trust Yuminashi stuff/customer service, however all my Yuminashi parts are doing fine (knock on wood). :? But i'm all for Valiant being the guinea pig on a 196 big bore kit sounds awesome. 8) Unti...

If you have a stock 2013 pcx 150 get the 12g sliders, best bang for the buck. If you have a pcx 125... I don't know.

Re: Maximizing your Dr. Pulley sliders

So is there a confirmed list of aftermarket variators that work well with the Dr Pulley Sliders? If the coating is the problem, could I use sandpaper to remove it, or would that alter the way the weights work by changing the surface finish? I've been using the Yuminashi speedboost v.2013 variator w...

Re: So, how'd that engine mod work out for you?

pcxdemon has the 164 Yuminashi big bore for the v.1 125 pcx...

I don't have a big bore kit, just the stock 153 and stock ecu with the Yuminashi head mods. works fine.
fuel economy is pretty much the same... not really sure/don't really care, but probably around 80+mpg.
