Re: Forza failure on Sunday - any ideas what happened?
Got Forza when it was 2 years old. Sat outside those two years in O/P back yard. Believe that may have been a factor?? Stranded me twice actually 3 times. First time, hauled to dealer. They said they could find nothing wrong with it........... Saw that the fuel pump [recall] hadn't been done and sai...

Re: Drive belt torque settings?
You have a Forza duh! It all still applies............. except the torque #'s.............. that would be 61 lb, variator........... and 55 lb. for clutch.

Re: Drive belt torque settings?
Did the same thing............first belt change. Came loose. If you have the tool that holds the clutch and variator in place, you'll probably be OK. On my first change, did not have that tool and that made the difference. 44 lb, variator nut 37 lb, clutch nut. [that's for a 2013 PCX] Yours is more ...

Great tutorial as usual, Thanks. Was hoping to see the other........... hidden one [CBS] too. Why Honda couldn't make it more easily accessed??

Re: Honda OEM windshield
First year I got my PCX, bought the taller Honda windshield. Much shorter than Dnakly1 's extra tall shield. Removed it for the warm weather and re-installed the stock "gauge" shield : ) [maybe for a month] Never used it again. The medium height windscreen turned out to be a good compromis...

Re: Video How To: How to change tire at home
Great Video! Thank You. If my tire replacements were fewer and further between...........probably would go the dealer route. The logistics got to be a hassle........Take the wheel off..........drop it off. If they were busy.......they didn't drop what they were doing .....so the half hour wait wasn'...

Re: stutter, close to cut off whilst riding
Can you syphon the fuel[water] out of the tank? Most newer cars have anti-syphon devices that prevent that. Not sure about the scooters. gas is lighter than water so, you'll need to get the syphon below the the fuel. If using a clear piece of tubing, you'll probably see when the water changes to fue...

Re: troubleshooting
There is a switch that has a pin that pops out when you squeeze the lever. Check with good lighting if that pin is popping out when the lever is squeezed. If it is stuck or broken you wouldn't see the pin pop out.. the switch itself may be bad. My PCX is 2013 so I'm not sure this info is relevant fo...

check spark plug
My Dad use to say........Don't do as I do, do as I say. Any of you ever heard that one? Well.......anyway......I've been negligent.......checking my plug. Last few days, the PCX didn't fire up [instantly] as it used to. Thought maybe it's past time I checked the valves?? [way past] [looked in my rec...

Re: Full Synthetic Oil
Agree about the service manual......could be more helpful. Understand you want to "go by the Book" seeing how your new PCX is under warranty. Bought mine [PCX] used with about 2100 miles on it, so warranty wasn't a concern. Used some left over Amsoil for my first oil change and Walmart Sup...

Re: New PCX in garage
Have a hunch you'll ride more.....That's what happened for me......wasn't riding as much....switched from BIG BIKE to the PCX and the miles just pile up! You'll like jockeying it around.....more than the Silverwing. The Wing is great for touring/two up etc. The PCX shines for local riding....especia...

Re: How many miles do you have on your PCX
Welcome to the club : ) have to agree, NEW is the way to go in this market! Went to the Power Sports Dealer about a week ago and they had a lot of open floor space.. Noticed a 2014 Forza.......real clean/low miles [6,000] $4700.00 ! Think that went new for about $5,500.00. Pretty sure you'll be happ...

Re: PCX clutch wouldn't disengage
Yes........not looking forward to doing the contra spring on the Forza. It was a job separating the two "driven" faces enough to load the new belt....[Forza].... with enough slack to install on the variator/boss. Rode the PCX with those bearings complaining for a long time [55,000mi] Didn'...
