Re: comparison of PCX/SH/Forza 125s

From what I have seen it is mostly you, iceman, that talk about serious issues with the forza 125 on this forum. And that is even just referring to third-party anecdotes on a facebook page. I suspect you have fallen victim to a case of confirmation bias where your own repetition of third party anecd...

Re: comparison of PCX/SH/Forza 125s

Got a Forza 125 and routinely use it to drive 500km to my cabin, across two mountain passes. It is not a sportbike off course, but safely and comfortably maintains the speed limit on all inclines. (mostly 80km/h (50mph)) Top speed around 120km/h, but that gets tiresome. I'd say 90Km/h is the upper c...

Re: Forza sub-groups?

Congrats on your new bike!

Out of curiosity: What are the main differences besides capacity? Does it share the same frame? Engine layout?

Re: Repairable or totaled

Glad you are ok. Where I live it is almost always cheaper for the insurance company to write off a scooter than let professionals repair it. And even in a low speed crash there are great forces involved. Your frame/fork may have been bent. Not much you can do then, without using a lot of time and mo...

Re: How to set the light to auto shut off

I think it's absurd people saying here that this is solely a user problem. Good design accounts for user error. Yes, clearly I will need to be sure never to do this. But it doesn't make sense to me that the default behavior is to run the battery down. I think that is like saying all knives should b...

Re: How to set the light to auto shut off

This is a strange problem to have. Why don't you switch off your stuff when you leave it? That the engine isn't running doesn't mean the scooter is switched off. But I'm sure you got that already. I honestly think Honda didn't expect people to do this. It just goes against common sense. At least if ...

2019 125 Forza owner checking in.

My unit has worked perfectly, but I haven't really put a significant number of miles on it yet.

I expect it to last more or less forever.

Re: How comfortable is the Forza 300 for various ride length

I have a MK2 Forza and find the ergonomics to be exellent for 7-8 hour rides. I do stop to stretch, eat and drink, but I suppose most people will take a few breathers on a 8 hour ride, no matter the bike.

Re: Electric supercharger install

Lol. So your pcx alternator is able to deliver 20 amps to this gizmo? I'd rather spend the money on a coat of red paint. I have read somewhere on the internet that you could get at least 4hp extra, compared to the slow colours. And I have proof for it too! My red car can go much faster than my black...

Re: 2017 Forza 300 Brake lever starter bypass

I can think of one specific example: Imagine you are in the yard and your kid/friend/partner/postman is allowed to sit on the bike and play "wroom-wroom" Having played this game on other bikes before, noone of the aforementioned expected their imaginary Tie-fighter to suddenly burst into l...

Me? Yes. I think the suspension on my forza is perfectly allright for my riding, both with and without my wife riding pillion. But preload will have to be adjusted (obviously)

Re: ABS with Combined Braking System (CBS) on Forza

I'm not really getting OPs point, but I have a ABS Forza and my front and rear brakes are fully independent. If I press my left brake lever hard enough I will activate my ABS on the rear wheel only. The same goes for my right lever (activating front wheel abs only) The CBS version does not have ABS.

Re: Minor crash

ABS will prevent the front wheel from locking. Locking the front wheel will in most cases lead to a crash. If you "grab a handful" of brake with no ABS your front wheel will lock up. How is ABS not the solution? Not the only solution, but A solution. ABS is not a replacement for training, ...

Re: Forza 125 performance mods

I can imagine that the performance potential is limited on this engine as it is already producing 15hp form a 125cc engine. And perhaps the target group for this scooter (I suspect adult commuters in major european cities) is not typically interested in a tuned screamer, making the market for perfor...

I have bought mine. It is not available as a download as far as I know. Honda really keeps the cards close to their chest, but I found the shop manual by searching for the manual part number

NSS125 Forza specifications and service info

The owners manual is not really helpful if you prefer to do your own service. After several weeks of waiting I finally got my service manual! Here are a few bits of information that I would have liked to know: Cylinder head and valves Valve clearance IN:0.1mm EX:0.24mm Lock nut torque 10nm Drive bel...

Yeah, I can agree the head cover torque is not vital, but valve clearance specs kinda isn't a ballpark setting, so does anyone know?

Btw, I have ordered the service manual, so hopefully I can provide the definitive answer soon™

Nope. There is a sticker with tire specs and pressures. There is also a sticker with load limits for the top box and underseat storage, but that's it
