Re: ancient TV series long gone that you miss

Showing our age is remembering Disney shows like Spin and Marty, and other 'Black & white' shows on early television, like Sky King. Yes, I remember them well. My grandmother had one of the few tvs on the block, so all of the neighbor kids would join my brother and I as we sat quietly in front o...

Re: Flasher bleeper

Bricorn, I am betting that there are mechanics there that can take the dash cover off for you, and probably could find an aftermarket one that beeps to replace the factory relay. They won't guarantee the aftermarket one, but I am pretty sure money talks, and if you are willing to pay them to do it I...

Re: Should have left the stock windscreen on

Maybe you have gotten use to the luxury of the Goldwing. The seat is lower and the windshield is higher and wider than on little PCX. Still, before you give up completely on a windshield for the PCX, try to locate someone with a scooter (any kind) that had a GIVI windshield and ask to ride it. The G...

Re: Flasher bleeper

I tried to search the Forza parts pages I came across on the web but it looks like the latest I can find is for the 2016 model. From it I gather that the relays are all together on a relay holder, and that it uses a 2 pin turn signal relay, which is held into place by a clip on the relay. I am still...

Re: Flasher bleeper

See if you can purchase a service manual for your bike. It will show you exactly where it is located. My bet is that the previous version of Forza has it in the same place, so maybe one of the members here who has a Forza can tell you where the blinker relay is.

Good luck with your upgrade. That is a top-of-the-line product. I am not sure that you will ever get your money's worth out of the upgrade but they will make your ride better.

I would suggest that you not consider selling or trading it until you have to. If it runs good, keep doing what you are doing. The Liberty has a good reputation for reliability.

Re: Flasher bleeper

I have a PCX so I am not sure about your bike, but as far as I know every vehicle uses a single device for the blinker. It is a blinker relay. There are quite a few aftermarket relays that allow you to hear the turn signal as well as seeing the indicator bink. You only need to locate the blinker rel...

Re: Vaccine mission

I had my 2nd Pfizer vaccine a week ago and still feel fine. Took the bike out to gas station, to fill gas cans for lawnmowers. I modified a milk crate for the tail rack and took 3 gas cans...and the milk crate has brake lights too. Have to be seen, you know. :D

Some of us still follow or old posts. Just FYI, my RAM brake reservoir cover from my Burgman 400 fit my 2013 PCX perfectly. I have 2 RAM mounts on my bike, and I swap out what I attach to them.

Re: Sloppy Oil Change

There was once a How-to on this forum that addressed that issue. Hee is the essence of it. Make sure you have a shallow oil catch pan under your bike. Use duct tape to keep it against the centerstand. (I use a paint roller pan like painters use.) Put a round dot piece of velcro on your centerstand c...

Re: arriving back after getting Vaccine

Oh, but we all know that it won't happen to us...until it does.
I am probably just as guilty when it is just going to be a 5 minute ride down the road, and that turns into a longer ride than expected.

Re: Anybody in U.S. pay for Roadside Assistance that wasn't with your insurance company??

I have Geico on all of my vehicles, which includes roadside assistance. It was cheaper to have combined insurance, which has a multi-car discount, than keep my AAA Roadside Assistance along with my auto insurance. However, when we only had cars I definitely used my AAA a lot! (The advantage of AAA w...

Re: Lower Mirrors

I'm not sure there is a solution to your problem. I use to bring my bike inside for the winter and it required that I move the mirrors inward until the handlebars could clear the door. If there were some good days for riding during that time, I would roll out the bike and readjust the mirrors. Then,...

Everyone has their own opinion about the vaccine, but I feel that part of the privilege of living together as a society is to do whatever they can to help the rest of the society feel as safe as possible. The vaccines were rushed through because they were needed as soon as possible and the death tol...

Re: Excessive Wind Noise Help

It has to do with preferences. Some of us want a quiet, comfortable ride, even on a scooter. When we first bought our scooters we determined that they would be OK for around town, but if we wanted to ride the back roads we would need less wind on us. We tried the mid-height windshield but still had ...

Re: Is it reasonable to take a PCX on a cross country trip

Look at all the Vespas registered for that run! I think the PCX is much more comfortable for long rides. I noticed that Number 16's displacement is incorrect. It shows the displacement of a 125cc, not a 150cc. It should be a 153cc engine. Same with #3. Speaking of 125cc, I did notice several 125cc b...
