Re: Best mobile phone holder for a PCX?

I use a Motowolf holder - very sturdy. Bought on Lazada. Zero issues, 5 minutes to install. About 300k VND.

Suggestions requested - times of need (mods remove if necess

Here I find myself In Nam, with a beautiful bike, and zero income. I'm a teacher who hasn't been paid in two months, and it looks like the school will shaft on the few hours I did manage to do last month. Down to $10. And Vietnam went on lockdown last night. I'm not a clever chap, like y'all (I'm cl...

Re: PCX150 repaired exhaust

The Golden Gal was a recent purchase, bought second hand. I think the previous owner rode it hard, and also the roads in Vietnam can be bumpy at times.

PCX150 repaired exhaust

So, my Golden Gal started cackling and gargling and spitting at me - knew it was an exhaust problem,

Went to Honda for a quote. $200 to replace the exhaust. Alternative: cheap-o fix for a dollar.

In the pic you can see it's been repaired a few times. I did one additional touchup - cost a dollar.

Re: My Golden Gal, or Ron Jeremy as my friend calls her

I wonder if anyone there has compared the Air Blade exhaust and the PCX exhaust? They look very similar. Good point. I'm sure some parts are interchangeable across models. Would the Air Blade (or another model's) exhaust fit the brackets on the PVX though? They were able to fit a new fuel pump with...

Re: My Golden Gal, or Ron Jeremy as my friend calls her

Wait! They don't sell exhausts there? That is strange. I figured that in a country where everyone rides scooters, they should have exhausts for them. $200 is a lot for an exhaust anywhere, but there?? My thoughts exactly. I think for one of the more common scooters here - Air Blades and the like, t...

Re: My Golden Gal, or Ron Jeremy as my friend calls her

Welcome! Your first link worked for me! Lovely colour. EDIT: thank you for the welcome! Were you able to see all 5 photos? She exudes different glows at different times of the day. Just need to get a new exhaust for her. No need for speed in Vietnam - far better to ride gently with all seven of you...

My Golden Gal, or Ron Jeremy as my friend calls her

I'm out in Nam, and ride this lovely beast. She was sluggish at first, and I realised something was amiss. Turns out she needed a new fuel filter. I changed the grips, brake levers and rear tyre (it had a rubbish Chinese tyre on that was sliding all over the road). I'd like to do some performance mo...
