Yet another windshield thread (aerodynamics related)

If it was me I hate the look of any bigger windscreen on the PCX, so I'd be buying purely for comfort so I would get the MAHAHAHAAAASSIVE one that maddiedog has.

the switch is electrically operated? I always thought it was mechanical. Could be wrong though i know very little about how bikes are built.

Re: Crazy

I was lucky enough when I was young to have not been hurt or killed by speed. My parents were dumb enough, and I was fortunate enough, to get me a 1996 BMW 325 IS for my first car. I regularly would travel on the highway at 5:30am to hockey practice at 140+mph. My brother wasn't so lucky. My brothe...

That's an urban myth.
It's the deceleration which does the damage.

Anyone sold a vehicle on ebay before?

I've asked bike buyers UK. They only offered £1400. Very disappointing price. If the sale on eBay ends up falling through I might ask some bike shops.

Re: Crazy

After two write offs in under 3 years driving you learn pretty quickly to be as careful as possible. Im not saying i sped around everywhere not looking where i was going though. Neither write off was my fault, i mean you need to watch what other people do cus people cant drive for shit round here.

Re: Anyone sold a vehicle on ebay before?

Ok ive changed the settings of the auction to only allow UK bidders and block anyone with 0 feedback who dont have a credit card on file. Ill leave it till tomorrow, buyer could be genuine, we all start with 0 feedback. But i think 24 hours is plenty time to reply so ill cancel the bid tomorrow if t...

Re: Crazy

Ive never seen the fascination with speed to be honest. Id rather drive at 65/70mph in my car on the motorway and get 60mpg rather than do 100mph and get 30mpg.

Re: Anyone sold a vehicle on ebay before?

It was made in June 98. I think any car of that age would have some wear and tear. Plastic had probably gone brittle or something. Plus if water leaks in through a crack in a car it has to go somewhere. I'd rather it went there to where I saw it straight away so could fix the problem rather than fuc...
