Re: Weather report
Actually, it was pretty warm today, no problems with cold hands unlike earlier this week. I'm still gonna shop for muffs though.

Ride impressions
Hey guys, my PCX had its valves adjusted and oil refreshed, and in the mean time I had a Honda S-Wing 125 as a loaner. I wanted to share my impression of it somewhere, so I thought I'd kick off a ride impressions topic :P So, did you for some reason ride on something other than your PCX and feel the...

It's called the 'rolling shutter' effect. Look it up

Re: How-To: Install a windshield
Our new Givi windscreen (the short one) is a huge improvement and I can't imagine keeping the OEM version! The wind still hits my shoulders and helmet, but I no longer feel like I'm fighting to keep my hands on the bars. I'd have to say that it isn't much help for cold hands however. Maddiedog- hav...

Re: Forum Suggestions
Hmm if I had a choice I would want to be able to edit a post for changing info or maybe add a pic or the such but its your forum so your rules. Sent using Tapatalk It can be kinda annoying, but it helps to add some accountability to your posting. Speaking of annoying, would you care to filter 'Sent...

Re: Teamtd11's PCX
Thats the good thing about the black one, you can get away with putting awesome colour rim tape on the wheels, on the white one it looks abit naff with any colour other than white :( I found it hard to decide between white and black. Like the step boards too. You can do red on white: http://i.imgur...

Re: anyone have different mirrors?
I'm under the impression that the threading on motorcycle mirrors is relatively universal. Any motorcycle mirror should fit any motorcycle for the most part. I think they're all 10mm... some of them have reverse threading on one of the mirrors while others don't though, gotta find out which is whic...

Re: Club PCX banned me. How about you?
They banned EddieC too though, and he didn't do anything at all. You had him come over to our forum, edit all the how to's and remove the text to them, and link them to your site to get them... And you think that by banning him, you're actually helping ClubPCX? All that did is make you look like so...

44psi is on the upper end of what's recommended maybe, but when riding 2-up I'd say it's a good starting point.

Re: Black stock PCX
I thought the grey was more of a gunmetal grey? It would have been my first choice, with black second. The grey one that I've seen was the boring, invisible kind of grey. I'm not particularly fond of the black (although I like it better than the grey), but all we get here is the black, grey and whi...

Re: Leaving suspension as is
I would definitely like to switch out the shocks but there are not really many options that are within a reasonable price range... So I will be stocking with the stock shocks as well. They're really not that bad anyways :-) Well that's part of my reasoning as well. I bought the PCX to commute to my...

Re: Leaving suspension as is
No, I'm a heavy guy and I'm fine with the suspension as is as well. Sure, I get to know the potholes and bumps in my commute quite well, but that's true for just about any scooter or motorcycle.

Re: Winter tires
The speedometer sensor is on the rear wheel, just to the left of the wheel below the suspension. You're right, it reads off the rear. One of the tabs on the calculator has a graph that shows you how far off the odometer would be. ;) According to that calculator, it would be less than 1%, or probabl...

Re: Winter tires
Weird, where are you located that they enforce that sort of thing? I put up a tire calculator here: http://hondapcx.org/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=5 , you can probably use it to tinker around to see what will fit. I'm fairly sure we have quite a bit of extra width, but not too much on height. Germany...

Re: Winter gloves
maddie - have you considered installing heated grips? I like the fact that I can use any gloves I want and still have warm hands. They cost about $30 for the heating elements that will go under your existing grips. I had them on my last bike, and they were a god send. Will be installing them on my ...

Winter tires
So, I have a bit of a problem. According to local laws, I am required to use tires that are 'appropriate' for the conditions that I use my scooter in. That is, police have been cracking down on car drivers who were driving through snow on their bald summer tires. Apparently they haven't been checkin...

Hmm... I guess there isn't really any reason to limit size as low as it is. I'll reconfigure to allow higher resolutions when I get home tonight. Thanks for all the feedback so far. :) Well it also depends on the kind of bandwidth you have available, so setting a size limit (as in, filesize) might ...
