Re: How cold will you ride?
At that rate it will take about 10 years and 100000 miles before I break even. Are you trying to pay for the gear and the Forza completely with the gas savings? What about the depreciation of a $20,000 car over 100,000 if you didn't ride the bike. Yep, you got it. How can you say you're saving a fo...

Re: How cold will you ride?
I put about 10000 miles on my Forza last year that I would've ordinarily put on my car. Factor in just the price of gas and I saved about $1450.00. Factor in insurance, maintenance, registration etc. I saved about $800 in one year. At that rate it will take about 10 years and 100000 miles before I b...

Wonder if you can get the dealer to check the valves at a minimal charge while they're at it?

Re: How cold will you ride?
25F is pushing the limit for me. Any colder and it stops being enjoyable to ride. I don't own any winter gear and don't plan on buying any. What's the point of saving money on gas if you blow it all on gear? It will pay you back over time. You can save 60% over any car on your gas bill by riding th...

Over 4 inches of much needed rain so far today. Clear skies and temp of 78 degrees forecast for tomorrow. Far cry from the record low 25 degrees we had earlier this week.

Re: How cold will you ride?
It was two days ago. Good news is it doesn't stay this cold for long. Just have to suffer for about 20 days in an average Winter. Snow or freezing precipitation is rare here. We'll have temps in the 70s or 80s before too long.

Re: How cold will you ride?
Rode to work today at 25f temp in the same gear I ride in 100f temp. Don't yet own any cold weather gear. 70 mph in 25f temps is damn cold! Definitely need to buy some lined gloves and find the liner that came with my jacket. Looks like it's going to be a long winter.

Video demonstration of ABS is proof enough for me. Statistical generality study will come in handy if I run out of toilet paper.

No just the only thing standing in the way of some third world power taking over Great Britian and the other liberal countries enjoying the benefits of socialism due to the protection of the U.S. Military.

Re: How cold will you ride?
I ride year round regardless of temp. I don't own any cold weather gear but fortunately we only have a few days when the temps dip below 30F. Will look into getting lined gloves though as my hands freeze when doing 70mph. Don't see many other bikes on the road after temps drop below 50F.

Might have been better to return it to the store in case the owner returned for it. Easy for me as I don't like that particular beer. But at least it didn't wind up taken by underage kids.

Dergav, The fact that we didn't find weapons of mass destruction is irrelevant. Sadaam wanted the world to believe he had them. That and his his history of murdering millions was enough justification. That is undeniable fact, no proof whatsoever about your claims, just your opinion.

Re: Unbelieveable...
Um actually, we went into Iraq because Sadaam, who had a history of gassing millions of his own people was building massive underground facilities and kept denying access to the UN inspectors. If we went there for oil, we would have the oil. The world could not afford to wait for the next terrorist ...

Meanwhile tens of millions of fat people and smokers will continue to clog our hospitals with their heart disease related problems. Our health car...
