I find the NCS seat very comfy. Seat should not really matter as plenty get the internal padding redone on the NCX for various reasons.

Re: Mom allows

The fact is they do have a point as you are more likely to get hurt on a bike than in a car but you need to do what you want when you are the age of 24! You have one life......
Yes, but if you know what you are doing you should not get hurt either. Point is that people feel invulnerable in ...

Re: How much did you guys pay?

Just to add I think the Reflex has combined ABS which I find works very well on my NC700. The size of the scooter compared to the pcx will give you more road presence too I imagine.

Re: How much did you guys pay?

If its in good condition and lowish mileage the Reflex makes more sense. Cheaper and you can keep it longer as will be better for distance riding on faster roads I would think.

Re: Mom allows

. In a polite way can I say Get A Life and to hell with what your mum wants!
I wouldn't be that extreme. Still: Any decent mother wants the best for her child and of course is afraid of it getting hurt. This will last a lifetime! I take into account what my mom tells me, and think if she ha...

Re: Mom allows "scooter"

JetFalcon, Hi. I'm wondering, how confident are "you" about riding a motorized 2 wheeler? This thread is baffling me, honestly. "I'm not" getting it? I'm pretty confident. I have a 50cc gas powered beach cruiser. It's a great ride, but it's more on the toy side. It can on...

Re: Mom allows "scooter"

24? Bloody hell mate that is not cool being controlled by your mother in that way.
Maybe she thinks you want a bike from OCC (orange county choppers) and tattoos like Paul Senior :-)
Then again nothing wrong with that (yes I am an OCC fan)

Re: Mom allows "scooter"

I think it is the perfect first bike for you. Nice storage space under the seat for some bits for the beach. A more relaxed ride than a small motorbike and you will hqve a lot of fun too. Learn the basics and once you are 18 move up to something bigger. Surely when you are of that age you are not go...

Re: vespa

The 1300 were dogs as they used the old BL Series engine. But honestly the 1750s were great. Burn off an RS 2000 easily Having driven my mates 1750 and also another mates rs2000 mark 2 I would agree with you the 1750 was faster in a sprint by a bit but I think it had a slower overall speed. I just ...

Quite the opposite, sold me the car for 150 quid and after a month I traded it in for an XR3 and got over twice what I paid for it in part exchange. So he did me a favour :)
