Re: Honda forza 125 uk cost.

Those 2kw are an increase of roughly 25%, but £4k is a shitload of cash for a 125. You could get through a full bike licence and pick up a decent used 300cc scooter for less. That's a very good point.. I've had my PCX for nearly 4 years now and thought the forza might be a good change.. Now thinkin...

Is it safe?

All, Just recently my PCX has started feeling a bit odd.. While idling at lights it has started to pull forward a bit, and it's become quite stiff to move forwards or backwards whether the engines running or not.. I'm not a mechanic but the best description I can come up with is that something feels...

When I'm walking and I pass something I want to look back on I'm constantly looking down to where the mirrors normally are..

Anyone got a shrine to their pcx?!

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/blogs-news-fr ... e-27255553

Love this story..

"In 1988, a young man called Om Banna was reportedly killed when his 350cc motorcycle hit a tree. Locals say the bike kept returning to the scene of the accident by itself"

This one was just clean out of the camera, a panasonic FZ200 only got it recently, really happy with it but as this is a bike forum I should say the pcx is definitely the highlight....

For any UK buyers I can recommend Hunts, bought everything I needed through them when I bought my pcx a couple of years ago. Great service and nice friendly people who didn't mind stupid questions from a new rider...

Re: Just had an accident

I came off on the ice a couple of months back and it's been good for me in a way. I've slowed down again as after a couple of years riding with no incidents I was starting to feel bulletproof... Not a good feeling for someone with little experience on two wheels.. Pleased obviously it took only a mi...

Re: Insurance....

Well I've gone for the minimum cover as it ran out while it was off the road.. Really looking forward to getting it back tomorrow and getting back on the road.... Public transport for the last few weeks has been painful.... Not least as each days train ticket was a weeks petrol money for the PCX!

Insurance....

All, Some of you may remember I posted a thread just before Christmas called "careful out there" after coming off the bike on a bit of ice. After (maybe stupidly) decideding to go through the insurance company, we've got to the stage where, hopefully, I'm finally getting it back after the ...

Re: Careful out there..

Got a bit delayed with this because of Xmas, insurance people picked it up on the 30th Dec, I just called again today and apparently they're STILL looking at it to assess the damage... Beginning to think I should've just sorted it myself...... Meanwhile I renewed took my CBT on Saturday (compulsory ...

Re: Careful out there..

I rode it slowly back from where it happened but the handling definitely felt wrong, but being pretty inexperienced I figure that's what the insurance is there for and I'd rather not take the risk.

Re: Careful out there..

yep there were a few sparks from the centre stand scraping across the road.... Going through insurance and getting it all fixed up hopefully. Wondering whether I buy a new seat without the hump while they're sorting it....
