Depends on the helmet rather than the size. A large of one helmet model might be bigger than the XL of another. Mine's an XL and fits easily. Couldn't be more true! Hand-guards fitted! Borrowed tools from my dad (but wasn't going to let him anywhere near the bike to do it himself!)
