Re: PCX -- The Attraction

Only one Triumph for me, a '69 Bonneville, back when I was a teenager. I put over 20,000 miles on that bike in two years ... and 2 chains... 4 tires... a couple headlights... and countless quarts of oil. 8) It was cool at the time. Until the first Honda 750/4 pulled up alongside me at a stoplight. ...

Re: PCX -- The Attraction

Does Honda import the VT750S to the USA? I think it would be popular over there http://bikerholic.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/2010-Honda-VT750S.jpg Yep....a Big Seller here....my Wife had one once in Candy Red with "Ghost Flames".....my Blacked Out 750 Phantom was a spin-off of this Bi...

I was trying to say, badly, that it was nice that you weren't bullshitting or broadcasting about the number of bikes you have had. Hmmm...musta' been directed "elsewhere"....Yep, I've owned over 200 Triumphs....Ran a Motorcycle Junk Yard, Service Center, Used Motorcycle Sales, and built w...

Re: Picked up one of our Forzas...80+ MPH Interstate Cruisin

No Problem with the Forza being 2-up....we rode 2-up yesterday after work for about 14 miles on the Interstate at 75 MPH (slightly over 80 a couple of times just to check)...as stable as the Silver Wing 600s we've owned in the past. I've tested the "PCX-2-up-Interstate-Thing" in the past ...

Re: PCX or S-Wing

THANKS Guys....the S-Wing looks pretty nice.......Honda, "someday", needs to send more Scooter/Motorcycle models to each of the different market countries it sells to. Here in the USA, especially in the motorcycle line-up, HondaUSA tends to think all we want are the absolute largest offeri...

Re: Picked up one of our Forzas...80+ MPH Interstate Cruisin

Hi, Skuuter: I'm interested in the stability of the Forza ridden two-up at highway speed. My wife and I rode the PCX 150 (two-up) on a few miles of freeway this weekend, throttle wide open, and the feeling in the bars was "skittish" at best. Not pleasant for me. Later the same day, I rode...

Re: Forza talk.

Will let you know about the taller screen. I haven't ridden it for any long distance, like a 500-miler yet, so don't know if the seat is a couch potatoes dream, or nightmare. Funny, right now, the worst seat I have ever, ever driven in for long distance, which caused serious leg and back cramps was...

English Motorcycles (Triumph, BSA, Norton, Matchless, etc.), along with most Other European Bikes here in the USA came with right side shifters until 1969 when left side shift and clutch were standardized. The Original Indian Motorcycles had left hand throttles, right hand shift up through Their dem...
