Ahh, I will drop that out the bike then, will just use deionized water and waterwetter till I can get some better stuff, Bike lives inside so freezing is not something that will happen.

Re: Coolant change help

I would rather not stick the wrong stuff in.

So I guess the required antifreeze would be this one?

Re: Coolant change help

No, it is not what you need. You need this: COOLANT Coolant Recommendation The owner must properly maintain the coolant to prevent freezing, overheating, and corrosion. Use only high quality ethylene glycol antifreeze containing corrosion protection inhibitors specifically recommended for use in al...

Coolant change help

I'm looking to change the coolant in my PCX as it is not long until I've had it for 2 years. I was in Halfords looking for the required coolant but the only advise i got there was "can't help with a motorbike" http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogI...

Re: Tyre puzzle - Lucky conclusion?

Wheels and tyres will be arriving tomorrow. Saves me walking 2 miles or paying bus fair to go get new tyres put on my wheels. Then when some city-grips are available at keen pricing I shall be ordering a pair and get them fitted to my spare wheels at my next convenience. I've taken the rear off befo...

Tyre puzzle - Lucky conclusion?

My rear tyre has got to the point of being slick in the center of the tread. My front does not need imminent replacement but it is not looking to good either. I priced up the tyres on http://www.oponeo.co.uk With 48H delivery for a set of City Grips the cost would be £93! :O ebay a set of IRC tyres ...

Re: godamnit... I just 'failed' my CBT! :(

I did the final part of my CBT on my PCX, Got it trailered to the test center. I could not stand the scooter they had there, the break leaver was in a very awkward position and it was making my hand cramp.

Also when I did my CBT we just followed the guy around, so as long as we kept up, we passed :p

My rear is due for a replacement after about 5k miles. The front is not looking to good and close to the markers at 6k. It would appear I'm quite hard on my front :p

Re: givi screen wind buffeting on helmet

well my screen has been sold for similar money i paid for it, it was def the screen as i've been riding with the original screen and its back to normal. Perhaps the screen made my helmet worst but either way, the screen was to blame for the discomfort. I may try a Puig screen instead but not sure i...

Re: Michelin & Pirelli tyre suppplier

You could define a Winter tire in two ways. First is for use in snow which on any bike is crazy. Second is as a seasonal tire, The IRC tire treads are setup for dry with more of a intermediate wet tread, Saying that I have never had a issue with the bike in the wet. The treads on the Michelin tires ...

Re: Warranty

The warranty will be valid on the bike. When you get it you will need to do whatever registration required with Honda and they should send a owners card.
