Re: Seat suggestions
Looks excellent, and your extra padding fix to smooth out the transition will work well too. Maybe add another, smaller diameter pad in the "deep" part of the transition would smooth it out even more. I saw some gel pad sort of stuff at Bed Bath and Beyond that looked like it would be just...

Re: Excited PCX owner......Pictures
Push it, but not too hard, man. VERY happy to hear that antibiotics are doing their thing. A mintenance dose of painkiller, a half hour, and then some PT makes sense, but overdoing either is a path toward trouble. Continued good progress. PCX will be happy whenever you get to it (sort of like the ol...

Re: Is bigger always better
I would expect a group ride to occasionally take a bit of highway to get to the fun roads, and for that you really need the Forza 300 class. We went on a charity ride with about 100 Harleys, a few Indians, and a couple of Can-Am's - we kept up just fine (two up, a snick over 400 lb with gear). PCX w...

Prayers that you don't have to go through a redo, Bro. If the pills don't beat it, perhaps IV antibiotics in the hospital will. I hope you don't have to go that far.
Good luck.
Good luck.

Re: Aftermarket seat for Honda Forza
Mel worked with one of the Thai places to get his PCX seat made to his spec. I'm not sure if it is the same place as the one I linked to. Perhaps he will chime in. The measurement from the lower corner of my "butt wall" to the front of the seat is 17 3/4". It is as far back as I could...

Spring Cleanup of the Team
We have been out a few times this spring on the Forza, but today I finally got around to a wash and a bit of detail on both the Forza and the PCX. I wanted to share a couple of pics of the "team". You can really see the difference in size between the two machines. I love them both (but I c...

Re: Aftermarket seat for Honda Forza
Indeed. The Admiral loves her "throne", and the extra padding and gel pads have taken the curse off the meh shock absorbers. I probably should have chosen slightly "grippier" vinyl for the main black parts. I don't slide much, but none would be better.

Wow - That looks great! I hope it does the job for you, and I (we all) wait with baited breath to see it on the scoot.
Hope you get it soon. The bait doesn't taste so good.....

That said, I ended up having a local guy do ours. It cost a fair buck, but we got exactly what we wanted.

An another, Forza specific one here: https://www.hondapcx.org/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=9801
Well, specific to a Forza 300. If you have a 125, GN2's is probably more accurate. We forget about the Forza 125 around here since it never made it to the USA.
It is amazing how fast things get buried....

Re: Talk me into or out of buying a 300 Forza?
Forza is OK for Interstate, but not wicked fun. I can easily do 75, and around here that keeps me going with the flow of traffic. The scoot is WAY more fun at back road speeds. I'm pretty much always two-up and close to (if not burying) the suggested weight limit. Remember that, while billed as a 30...

Moving on... I'm happy that you feel it is going to an appropriate home. But your extremely helpful videos will live on forever. So - you have the Buell - anything else on the horizon? You were toying with something electric. is that still on your radar? (Zero's new SR looks like a usable (and fun) ...

Right, GN2. In a peered review journal, I would be ripped a new one for not citing the original reference.

Re: Lubricating the Center Stand - 2015 Forza 300
The coins trick was of limited success They did not fully expand the spring to where I could just take it off. I got it off with a small bit of prying, so it did ease spring removal. I needed more expansion for spring installation. My first try, I lost about half the coins since I had to pull the sp...

Lubricating the Center Stand - 2015 Forza 300
The service manual makes it sound so easy....I expect it is if you do it often. My stand was not coming up on its own, so I knew it was crapped up. It seemed like a quite doable job, so off I went. I tried the coins in the spring trick: TG-4 -P4130068.jpg It sorta worked, but I still needed a 3# phi...

OTOH, the other option was ruining your nice old skin. Glad the event was only ugly from a cosmetic point of view.

Re: My new 2013 Forza
Were you REALLY running on vapors, or were you believing your (primarily decorative) fuel gauge? I usually fill up at 150 miles, and fully expect to get 180 miles out of a tank. The fuel consumption calculator seems quite good and usually shows 65-68 MPUSG, Forza 300 tank is around 3 gallons (again ...

Welcome aboard!
So what prompted the switch from the Burgman? Your island is pretty big, and I expect it is a fair distance between places. I love my PCX, but for longer hauls its nice to have a bigger scoot.

Awesome deal when you add in the gear. Now you need to figure out what to do with too many scoots. Unless the spouse tries to ride one. Then one (I'll bet the white '18) will find a new owner very quickly.
Very cool. Congratulations.
