Yes but has anyone who bought a reinforced belt ever looked inside? How does anyone know it is reinforced apart from the marketing guy?
How do we know the stock belt is not "kevlar"
Unless someone cuts an old one in half?

Re: 125 -> 150 is it a straight swap?
It s of course up to you but I think I would improve the exhaust first and fit an aftermarket variator, then a cam shaft. Before venturing into the realms of barrel swapping.. Exhaust and a variator will make available about 13 hp (12.945) , then a little bit for the cam. Stock 150 is only about 13....

TV is back on, overseas channels were never effected if one had expensive cable. (except maybe BBC and CNN who's reporters broadcast from the balcony outside the bar at the Foreign Correspondent's Club!) Curfew (very soft) has been relaxed to 12p - 4am. Life pretty much goes on as usual. I'm going t...

I'm curious about where people live and where they ride, there seems to be two camps.

My take would be a simple collection of hard consonants. Hard consonants are generally the only ones used in short vehicle names that require a sporty name like GT, GTX, S. STI, etc.
Probably has no meaning.

Well the shower is always the best place to think, at least for me. Of course no good if one is in a hurry to go to work etc. I guess a good walk in the country would be close but... Yes Moto 3 is fast for a small single cylinder bike but has no relevance to how fast a PCX can go. Even with a chang...

Conventional wisdom says 10% lighter with DrPulley sliders so 11 g. But if acceleration is not an issue then stick with stock, 12g.

Question from someone who knows nothing about engine size, other than bigger is more powerful... how fast could a 175cc or 190cc engine go? Watch moto3? I'm in GN2 mode. I was mulling the above statement in the shower this morning and it's relevance to PCX performance. A 1400cc F1 engine produced, ...

Re: Diferent varios opinion
After a certain speed it is the engine and not the "vario" that effects performance. Improving aerodynamics helps as well. I am intrigued that you fitted a strong counter spring and yet lightened the weights to 7.5 grams. I would have thought it would have been the other way around. With a...

Re: ECU Update
Lol probably not but worth asking. You'd need to know the new redline and roller weight. Most likely the change is in the variator since that would change the characteristics completely. Changing the end RPM does not change the roller weight which is designed to exploit maximum power not maximum RPM

No UPS and power on and off earlier so my post was cut short
I've got stock 44 mph on a 300m run up 5% grade and 53mph with variator. For a 100 (220 lbs) kgs rider on a new ( MK2) 125.

Re: Variator for 125
I ask because maintaining 65 on hills maybe impossible depending on grade. 5% grade and your speed will drop to 90 if you weight 100kgs and 100kph if you weight 70 kgs. These from a Mk 11 125 but should be very similar as the power output is about the same. New one is a tiny, tiny bit more but in th...
