If worried about alignment one could always add a shim/washer of the same thickness to re establish the alignment. Accepting of course that if MP3 guys lengthen the boss to improve acceleration, shortening it will have the opposite effect.

FYI depending on tires/wind etc on the flat a 125 has the potential of about indicated 73-78 mph (or real 67-71)

Paint the pulley with a blue felt tip marker, 3 or four one inch strips should be enough and the boss. The belt will rub off the blue where it touches.
