Re: My beloved PCX
She has anxiety about my modifications of a "city bike" into a "highway bike". In her mind I might as well have attached a chainsaw motor to my bicycle with zip ties and said hey honey I'm going out on the highway. She woul rather me ride on the highway with something that was me...

My beloved PCX
For those of you that have some idea of what I have done to my pcx 150, I am selling it for a real bike. I have submitted to the request of my wife to get something larger to relieve some of her anxiety. My add can be found in the for sale section. It DOES cruise at an actual 75mph and gets 72-73 mp...

I'm currently looking at the new Kitaco gpr mufflers. I'm curious if the wirius win dyno includes a weight change.

Re: KN Planning torque driver on PCX 150
The KN Planning torque driver cones with good prongs already installed. Ou will however need some good grease to install it. As I stated I do NOT suggest this mod unless you have a big bore kit. I have a takegawa cam, exhaust, ficon2, and Daytona variator installed and I don't really have enough pow...

Re: Unknown PCX Problem in Greece
The main thing to understand here is that on the PCX the starter is also the alternator. So if he alternator went out there is no starter.

Re: 2013 Performance
Sliders and the NCY variator. As you recalled correctly were a disaster for me. My current love is the sliders in my daytona variator. I am currently playing with weights again to dial myself back to where I want to be. Before I finish that though I'm going to throw my stock intake back in. I am run...

Re: Best Exhaust
The pcx has a very capable and adaptive computer. You can use any exhaust and not need to swap anything else.

Re: Pcx Yuminashi Chainsaw 164!
For the contra spring I'm running the yuminashi rear spring. I will do a weight swap tomorrow after my ride to breakfast. We shall see what the difference in fuel economy is lol.

Re: Pcx Yuminashi Chainsaw 164!
I myself recently finished a long project. I got my takegawa cam installed with the decompression feature on it. It starts beautifully just as before. I was intent on doing it this way since I ride almost year round. I didn't want to get stuck somewhere with a low battery lol. As for performance, th...

Re: PCX clutch bearing issue
The clutch bearing issue is common to less than 30 % I'd hazard to guess. Its a cheap bearing to replace ($22 plus $3 for the seal) and not a real hard job. It is by no means a reason to sway your decision.

Re: My Yuminashi PCX experiences - POOR!
Ok so remember this is a cvt. The aftermarket variator and drive face makes a marked improvement in both top end and acceleration because the weights can be lighter. The stock weights in a longer ramp give higher top speed. Then lightening the weights/rollers will improve acceleration while still ha...

Re: My Yuminashi PCX experiences - POOR!
The real point of an aftermarket variator is that besides performance, because of the increase in cvt range, you also gain fuel economy.

Re: Yuminashi variator and belt
This happened after two belts came apart because of a bent drive gasket. I replaced the gasket and locator pins and no more issues thought I get the same top end out of a Daytona variator.

Email webike and give four or five possible seats and ask which could be fastest to get. I changed a seat with them because of this also.

Swap back to your stock contra spring and see what happens.
