Re: loss of power
I'm lucky if I get 55 mph on mine and that's if there is no head wind. Although I would say that my weight is more to blame. I'm a big girl.

Re: Breaking in period
I just had my 600 mile check and they had to adjust the valves as well. When I went to pick up my scooter they weren't done with it yet. Amazing how much they have to take off. Only they very front part was still in intact. The rest was down to the frame. I was charged $290 for it. My husband's firs...

Re: Finally seen a PCX on the road!
I've had mine since last June and I saw my first one last Saturday when my husband was taking my scooter in to be repaired from my accident and I was following him. I've seen a couple of other scooters but this was my first PCX I've seen.

Re: 2015 HONDA PCX 150
If you had waited, you wouldn't have had that extra time using your PCX. One can go broke chasing technology. HAHA! If I had waited I wouldn't have broken my shoulder and busted my knee last Sunday. Most of the time that I've had the PCX it has sat in a garage or in storage. In my current situation...

Re: The only luck I have, is bad luck.
You know I didn't even think of the horn until afterwards. My first reaction was to avoid the collision. I use the horn at my husband when he's sitting at a light. Here in Illinois there is no law that says that you have to wear a helmet (I do By choice like many do), but everyone I talked from the ...

It looks like that actually listen too their customers and improved on PCX. Kind of wish I had waited but I do love my red PCX.

Re: The only luck I have, is bad luck.
Thanks Mel. All day long my husband was in the lead but I took the lead at that point because he always misses the turn off to go home. We got separated when we turned. I got the green turn light and he got the red. Like I said it could have been worse because I did slow down when I saw her approach...

Re: The only luck I have, is bad luck.
Thank you for all your well wishes. I tell you I am so happy to be alive. It could have been a lot worse. First of all I had a feeling that she wasn't going to stop so therefore I wasn't going as fast as I could have. I'm also thankful that the driver behind me in the SUV was far enough behind me, s...

Re: It's Raining......
Sorry Whitenoise. All of our snow finally melted over the weekend. We've haven't seen the ground since before Christmas. The temperature was in the 60's yesterday but now they are back down into the mid 40's. I hope it melts quickly.

The only luck I have, is bad luck.
I swear I would have no luck if I didn't have bad luck. After I first bought the PCX in the middle of July, I had to wait 2 weeks until I took my MSF. While taking the course I dropped the motorcycle on my foot and broke it. I was unable to ride it for 6 weeks. When I started to ride around 450 mile...

Re: Noises on our PCX's
Although my problem was only on long trips, I had a belt burn up within the first 500 miles of owning the scooter. The first time the belt started squealing I took it in and the dealer couldn't replicate the problem. They also said that I would have to pay for them to open it up and take a look at i...

Re: Insurance....
I have full coverage on mine. It runs me $144 a year through State Farm. I had to get full coverage when I first bought because I did finance it. I paid it off in a couple mouths but I plan on keep the full cover with a very low deductible.

Re: New PCX150 guy here with the fast Red one
Congrats on your new ride. I too have an awesome red PCX. There is no way I would try to ride my scooter this winter. We've had 4 days where it was -13 to -18 below with wind chill about -40 below. On top of that we've already had over 50" of snow with another 8"-12" arriving this wee...

Re: Video I made of my first valve clearance check
Thanks for the video. Now I know why it cost so much at the dealer. Although I think that I will be taking it to the dealer. For me it will take way to long and my luck I'll either lose some bolt or forget to do something.

Okay I have a question. What are the numbers for on the levers? Is it for the hand span? Mine right now it just a tad bit too far for me I would love to move them closer.

Re: What is the range on the PCX?
I have less then 600 miles on mine right now and I've average about 84 miles to the gallon. I am pushing 280lbs and most of my driving are on roads where the speed limit is 45-55 mph. Although most of the area where I drive is fairly flat there are some small hills I can encounter on my running arou...

Re: Which helmets fit/don't fit under the seat
My medium AFX FX-50 fits. I just have to make sure that it is in there just right. Although my husband's extra large AFX FX-140 Modular Helmet doesn't fit. I'm not sure about his XL HJC FG-Jet, I've never tried it.

Re: PCX 150 in the shop again!
Yeah I'm a wimp. The only day that it was warm, was also the day that we had tornadoes in Illinois with gust up to 50 mph hour in our area. Other than that the temps have been in the lower 40's. I personally don't ride in the rain unless I have to. I'm a new rider with very little experience and onl...
