Re: Wide tyres and insurance
Honestly let's all do the math. With all the other terrible crap that's going on in this world, anyone with a badge that hassles someone about the tires on their scooter is beyond a joke.

Re: Something's not right
To put this in perspective..... I've put over 15,000 miles on my PCX, and have complete confidence in knowing its limits. A couple weeks ago I was showing (off) to a couple coworkers how nimble the PCX is by leaning it over around the parking lot at work about 20mph. I ended up putting a couple pret...

Re: Something's not right
Mileage out of a tire is directly related to riding style. A "slow" casual acceleration and gentle breaking riding style will dramatically increase tire life over hard acceleration and aggressive breaking. That, and people have different views on when a tire needs to be replace reguardless...

Re: PCX for dedicated high mileage commuter.
It's absolutely ridiculous of me to present facts that are opposite of what u believe. I've riden the Forza many times, and personally I wouldn't buy a bike that the handlebars hit my knees. He should positively take one for a test ride and see if this issue is something he's comfortable with. I hav...

Re: PCX for dedicated high mileage commuter.
What u just said is the definition of a cramped bike for a "normal sized adult male." Thank you for proving my point.

Re: PCX for dedicated high mileage commuter.
One second of my knees getting anywhere near the handlebars is too much. I'm 5'10" with 31" inseam and my wrists hit my knees on the Forza. It's my opinion, but it's a fact.

Re: PCX for dedicated high mileage commuter.
At 5' 11" you will feel cramped on the Forza, that's a fact, unless u don't mind ur knees hitting the handle bars at full lock. Go to ur local dealership and sit on the Forza while it's on it's center stand.

Re: PCX for dedicated high mileage commuter.
I'd go with a used Majesty. I work in the motorcycle industry and have 2 customers that have put over 100,000 miles on their bikes with zero issues.

Re: PCX for dedicated high mileage commuter.
I love my PCX and have put 15,000 miles on it in just over a year, but for what you've described I'd look into a Yamaha Majesty. It's MUCH more powerful than the Forza, absolutely bulletproof, and are readily available for $5,999 new. You'll enjoy how spacious it is compared to the cramped feeling F...

Re: CVT mods for PCX 150?
Are there other sizes of the 12g sliders? I know there's different weights, but I'm refering to dimensions. I need to replace the rollers and want to b sure to get the correct size.

Re: warrantee issues
I have 15,452 miles on my PCX150 and until yesterday have done nothing except oil changes as far as maintenance, yesterday I changed the belt and plug. Ride it. Have fun. It's practically bulletproof.

One year ago......
A year ago this week I purchased a 2013 PCX150 and could not be happier with my purchase. In said past year I've put over 14,000 trouble free miles. Besides initial oil change at 600mi and about every 3,000 since, I haven't done any maintenance what so ever. I plan on changing the spark plug, air fi...

Start at the end of your VIN and count back 8 letters and or numbers, it will be a letter, A=2010, B=2011, C=2012, D=2013.

Re: Honda Worldwide Home -- interesting design article
I suggest taking the "Oliver" bridge from Superior to Gary New Duluth and riding through Jay Cooke State Park a few times, great scenery and a really fun road on a bike, especially your CB1100. You'll have a blast! If you can, post pics of your trip, northern MN is gorgeous.

Re: Honda Worldwide Home -- interesting design article
The CB1100 is a GREAT bike. Love that inline 4 and how nimble that bike is. How many miles do you have on it? What part of WI are you in, I lived in MN just outside of Duluth for many many years.

Re: Increasing mpg with each fill up?
Besides throttle control, the type of terrain you're riding will reflect greatly on your mph. The 100+ mpg I've been getting is on the completely flat roads that are SW Florida. Another big factor in mpg is tire pressure. I advise everyone to check their tire pressure at least every couple weeks, I ...

Re: Forza has arrived.
I also had just a few minutes of seat time on the Forza today. I only put about 10 miles on so it's a very limited impression. The short straight aways I was on limited me to 67mph but it was spirited getting there, didn't notice the 35mph "lag" the 150 has. On my PCX I'm a "feet flat...
