It is what concrete looks like, if Thai workers try to do a smooth surface. Either like that (dusting like crazy) or smooth like ice at wintertime. There is almost nothing in betweenSmellyTofu wrote:The floor could do with a sweep

Got new Pirellis on my PCX150 ...
... and I am impressed. Smoother ride than on the original flip-flops, the scooter is wearing proper Italian Shoes now. Handling improved tremendously. The second best investment I did to my Red Rat, after the YSS shocks. And please don't tell me I should give the PCX a shower...

I have seen PCXs with speakers in that place, the subwoofer and player/amplifier filled the space und the seat. Just think about the vibrations playing "No Coke" by Dr. Alban...gn2 wrote:Enlarge the hole, stick some edge trim on it,

Easy. First part is very common with my nationality (but not my real name), second part is roughly like the one of gn2.... it's Linux. My PCX's name is just the color, almost doubled. :-)

Re: 2 friends, 2 PCX, 4 days, 900 km, and a lot of fun
Nice pun. They look like a matched set -- very cool. Actually, my friend rented the PCX (the one with the saddle bags) in Phuket, he came down from Nong Khai by plane. The one he got was a 125, modified engine to upgrade to 150cc. The beast was doing very well, but she was coughing on E20 gas...

Re: Locked my keys in my car...
I wonder if anyone has locked their PCX keys under the seat? First thing I got was a third key for the PCX, including a properly coded RFID chip. I paid 150 Baht for it, which translates to about 5 US$. There is a friendly keymaker at BigC in Phuket... The remote is not that important, we all know ...

Re: Buzzer for the turn signals..
I did it the easy way and replaced the relay with one which has an integrated buzzer, these are available in many bikeshops here. Cost is about three bucks.

The 12V charger is limited to 2 Amperes, but still enough to charge your mobile, run the GPS, and whatever.

but interesting anyway. The Forza is a 300cc Scooter, with ABS and other goodies. It is available in Thailand for 159,000 Baht, which is a bit more than 5000 USD. Test show the beast got a lot of storage space, runs about 140 km/h, and got enough power for longer trips. Might well become a new versi...

Re: Honda PCX - Back from First Ride
I ride with my wife so if I see that she forgot to turn off the blinker, or if she sees that I forgot to, we have a signal to each other. I changed the relais (?) for my indicators to one with a built-in piezo tweeter. Now it squeaks when blinking and I never forget to turn it off. If the beep shou...

Re: back rest
A friend of mine (the one with the highway bars) designed this one. He made a crude template of it from normal iron and had it made by a professional here in Phuket. Material is Stainless Steel, the backrest was also custom made by the guy who modified the seat of my PCX. The price was 3500 Baht (ab...

16 Euro for a hook compared to a few Baht for a piece of PVC pipe does not get me hooked.Dudley wrote:powerbypcx sells a perfect hook for that.
